Aliyah, middle child and oldest daughter of the olo'eyktan and tsahík of the awa'atlu clan, she always looked up to her father, amazed by his capability of leading such a big clan, and hoped one day to be like him, which was unlikely since her older brother Ao'nung was next in line to be leader.

One say as Aliyah and tsireya are racing on their ilus, they hear a horn being blown, specifically one to indicate newcomers.

As expected Rotxo and Ao'nung are the first to show up, acting all tough, "look, what is that? is that supposed to be a tail?" Rotxo mocks.
"It's too small, how are they supposed to swim?" he adds, Ao'nung just laughs at everything he says. Thankfully Tsireya arrived in time to smack Rotxo's arm "do not, Rotxo, Ao'nung'".

at last Aliyah emerged from the water, expecting to see fellow metkayina, she spotted a strange shade of dark blue "forest people?" she whispered. Aliyah them noticed her sister sharing strange looks with the younger looking boy, "hey" is all he says.

'is he for real?' Aliyah thought.

Suddenly her eyes drift to the older looking boy. her eyes widen as she feels butterflies forming in her stomach.

he looks at her and shares a shy smile, which she returns. her eyes drift to the sand beneath her as she blushed.

'no, no no no no, i don't like this boy, i cant like this boy' just as these thoughts form in her head she notices her parents appear.

she payed no attention to the strange interaction between her parents and the older forest na'vi, but what really caught her attention was her moms interaction with the kids. she holds up the teenage girls hands and stated "these children are not even true na'vi"
she then held up the young boys hand and shouted "they have demon blood!"

'shit shit shit, i didnt just catch feelings for a fake na'vi, oh eywa what have i done'

finally, after what felt like hours Tonowari and ronal agreed to let the forest people stay, Ronal being skeptical.

"my son Ao'nung, our daughters Tsireya and Aliyah will show your children what to do" Tonowari stated,
Ao'nung made an effort to protest "father why-"
"it is decided" his dad said through his teeth.

"come i will show you our village" Tsireya told the family. clearly she was only doing this for the young boy.
"Sister, you cant catch feeling for that kid, he's trouble, mom wont like it" aliyah whispered, "i cant help my feelings, and i know you have some for the older one, i see it in your eyes" she smiled then sped up to lead the Sullys to their pod.

if we were being honest Aliyah wasnt too thrilled about helping the kids, for the moment her job was teaching younger children, not teens. aonung walked in the marui "come on we have to go"
"what? where?"
"to teach the freaks how to swim"
"hey, dont call them that"
ao'nung simply rolled his eyes them jumped in the water, followed by Aliyah.

'eywa help me i wish i didn't have to be here, i cant believe i fell for this guy, what would people think', she simply shrugged those thoughts away...

she went to join her sister and Rotxo, while waiting for the forest kids. But when she saw Neteyam she froze, 'did he get cuter or something?', she tried looking away but the patterns on his dark blue skin were addicting to look at. Suddenly she feels something touching her arm, it was only Tsireya, "less staring more teaching sis" she laughed, Aliyah just shook her head and went straight into the water.

the metkayina group were puzzled as the others were really bad at staying underwater. "come swim with us" Reya signed to them, clearly they understand nothing. "they're strangers to water, just like we once were" Aliyah signed to them.
