I woke with grandma chattering to ma and pa about a storm coming I thought of it being a minor storm, But rumors started about spreading of the first sight of a storm in Stanley , Philidelphia in 5 years. News reporters brought up propaganda about the storm. We haven't had a single rainfall all year besides today, Today was the day the storm was going to come. Today was the day I was scared for the first time.My brother was almost as curious as me"is the hurricane big?how much longer till it hits?should we take cover?-" my brother Laker
asked at the breakfast table"Enough,you should know by now that rumors are not true"mom replied"are you saying that the news reporters are lying then?" I said"well no,but still they don't know for sure-" mom said"so your saying your not even going to take it as a threat, Mom schools been canceled because the county's expecting a hurricane shouldn't you be the least bit worried" I interrupted."that's it, that is it go up to your room right away Grace"shouted mom"fine then" I said as I stomped up the stairs.
