Nobody's pov
Hungary arrived at the dining room. Almost everyone was there chatting with each other before the meal starts. When Hungary opened the door, everyone's attention went to him. He felt anxious and quickly walked to his seat. Austria looked at him confused.
"I know you're never the first person, but you never came last. Did you fall asleep or something?" He whispered to him.
"No, I lost track of time." He whispered back.
The two went quite for a while. Hungary decided to look around.
And once again Cuba and Poland were glaring at each other. He looked confused at them. Lithuania saw how confused Hungary looked towards them. So he looked to the direction where he was staring. When he noticed the two glaring at each other, he kicked Poland's leg. He looked at his brother confused, but then he whispered to him;
"Hungary is looking. Stop acting like this and show some manners." Poland looked up making eye contact with Hungary. Hungary looked away quickly, clearly embarrassed that he was caught. While Poland was still looking at him and couldn't help but smile. After the dinner was over Hungary made sure he wasn't going to be stopped by anyone. He was almost running when he finally reached Albania and Budapest's room. He knocked and after a few moments the door was opened. It was Budapest who opened the door.
"Ah, good afternoon Hungary! What brings you here?"
"I need to talk with you two. It's important." Budapest let him in, concerned a little. He didn't know what could be so important at night.
Hungary looked around and didn't saw any sight of Albania.
"Where is he?" Budapest closed the door and walked to the table, so he could sit down.
"He is the one who has to clean up the kitchen this week so he stays a bit late." He said annoyed. When Albania cleans, it takes him so much time and its not even perfectly clean.
"But why did you came here for? You don't usually come here and most importantly not at night time."
It took a moment for Hungary to start talking, but eventually he did.
"I found grandma's old diary and i found something in it that I want to ask you. The last thing she wrote in that diary is a little bit strange. She wrote 'They found me' with big letters and with a messy handwriting. It was clear that she was in a hurry. Do you know anything about happened then?"
Budapest stayed quiet. He listened to everything Hungary said and didn't know how he could say it more nicely.
"Well, you know that she was killed by the people in our own country. She was actually hiding in a hidden house in the west side of the capital. She was able to hide for a few months, but they found her. She came back here and begged me to hide her. I hid her in a room where nobody was going in, since it was always locked. It only took a few days for the guards to notice the noises coming from inside. She ran and probably wrote it down then."
Budapest could tell that Hungary was thinking. So instead he change the subject.
"And what did you need Albania for?"
"What? Oh, I just wanted to ask him about the list of people who got a life long scar in war or got any kind of illness."
Budapest was proud of himself. He didn't fail to lighten the mood up.
"Why do you need that?"
"I want to practice my magic. Since Karin is at the end of her pregnancy, she could give birth anytime soon. And I will be the one who has to keep her and the kids alive with my magic. Austria suggested it was a good idea to practice on sick people at night, when they are asleep and can't see me. So I will try it."
Budapest looked at him suprised. It was a really good idea to do that. But also it was a dangerous idea. If someone finds him while using magic, he will have the same fate as KOH. Even tho the people calmed down and
they don't kill the magicians anymore, it's still dangerous. Thankfully it was almost a decade ago since the death of KOH, so the society might have changed since then. But he wouldn't bet on it for sure.
"You know what? Let's go to the kitchen and ask Albania. He probably won't come for back any time soon, so let's go to him." Budapest said cheerfully and stood up.
Hungary agreed and got up too. They went out of the room and walked towards the kitchen. When they got closer to the kitchen, they heard faint noises from there.
"What the hell could he be doing this time?" Budapest murmured.
They walked there faster and Hungary opened the door.
He saw Albania shouting at a girl. He couldn't recognise her face. She probably wasn't one of his people.
"What is happening here?"
Albania stopped and looked at him.
He sighed and started to rant.
"Well, I was cleanimg up the floor almost finishing, when this girl walked in and stepped in the dirt I already sweept up! Now I have to start again and she didn't even mind apologising!"
When Albania stopped the girl also spoke up.
"Well, you didn't even give me chance to apologise. You started shouting before I could say anything." She said it in a low voice, but everyone could hear it. Albania looked at her, clearly angrier than before. She noticed and tensed up. For her luck Hungary jumped in quickly.
"Alright, alright. Albania go back to your room. You have to calm down. We will take care of the sweeping."
He frowned, but still listened to him. Once he finally left, Hungary looked back at the girl. Her arms were crossed and she was looking down. She was clearly scared about what will happen. For her surprise Hungary spoke to her with a lot more sweater tone.
"I'm sorry about him. His temper always gets the better of him. I am Hungary, I am the fourth prince of this empire and behind me is my personal servant Budapest. Who are you?"
She looked up and answered;
"My name is Slovakia. I came from the Polish-Lithuanian empire. I am one of the personal servants of the crown prince."
Hungary was taken back for a second, then he remembered that they really came with two servants. He didn't know the reason why, but now he does.
"Hello Slovakia. If you got what you needed, please head back to your room. Please keep this in mind that, people don't usually go anywhere at night. My servant was probably angry at that."
Hungary smiled at her she nooded and left. Hungary picked up the broom. Slovakia didn't even cause a big problem. He quickly sweeped it up and looked towards Budapest. He was looking around if Albania didn't miss anything.
"Are you obsessed with cleaning or something?" Budapest looked at him and frowned.
"No, I'm not. I just wanted to check if he did it right."
"Sure, sure. Let's go back to Albania. I still need to talk with him." Hungary said and put the broom next to the door. The two men walked in the bedroom.
Albania looked up at them. He already calmed down and was sitting on his bed. It was clear for him that he was overreacting, but he couldn't help it. He hated cleaning and it always took him a long time to be done. And if it wasn't enough, Budapest always nagged him that he didn't do it properly. Hungary walked next to him and sat down.
"Hey calm down, I'm not Budapest. Im not gonna nag you for this. But still, don't make a fuss about something so little."Albania nodded while looking down. He didn't say a word.
"Anyway, I wanted to ask for a favor. "
Now more interested, he looked up at him.
"What kind of favor?"
"I want you to make a list for me. The list must contain the names who have illness and don't have enough money to pay for medicines or who have life long scars from the war and so on. And i want you to write there where they live." Hungary explaining.
"Alright, I will look around, but why do you need it?" He asked curiously.
"I want to practice healing, but i can't do it to anyone here. Plus i need bigger challenges than some little scratches."
"Isn't it dangerous for you to go out to people and show your magic?"
Hungary rolled his eyes while saying.
"It is, but I will go at night and i will wear something that covers my face, so they don't recognise me."
"It's not a bad idea. I like it. But you know if anything happens you can just teleport out of the country. This is the only place where they don't like magicians." Albania said jokingly.
"Heh, for their luck I can't teleport that far away. But sooner or later I will be able to do it." Hungary said.
"I'm gonna leave now. It's already late and it's gonna be a long day for you two."
Hungary left and headed towards his room.
When he got there he fell face down on his bed. Another day is over. He couldn't wait until all of this was over.
He just wanted to go back to his regular life again.
Sooner or later he fell asleep without even changing his clothes.================================
