Chester sat on his bed, scrolling through TikTok, unaware of his surroundings. He wasn't really even taking in what he was watching, all there was to be seen were stupid dances and idiots pulling crappy pranks that were 100% staged.

He had been here for around 2 hours now, Parker was out at the grocery store, getting things for dinner, and he had nothing better to do other than be on his phone.

'When will Parker be back? I'm bored of TikTok now.' Chester thought out loud, turning off his phone and letting his hand fall to his side.
'Ugh'

He sighed and got up off his bed, stumbling to the kitchen to make another coffee. After a bit more scrolling he grabbed his cup and flopped down onto the couch, spilling some of the burning hot liquid on his shirt.

'AH! OW! That's hot!'

After brushing himself off, which didn't really do much at all, he grabbed the remote and switched on the TV. While aimlessly flicking through the channels, he, for some reason, couldn't stop thinking about Parker.

They had been living together for just over two years now, and they had been friends for as long as he could remember.

The whole YouTube thing was getting pretty tiring, the endless amount of hate, people spamming the comment sections demanding for them to upload more, they just couldn't keep up.

He flicked off the TV and set his cup down on the table in front of the couch. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get Parker off his mind. He tried thinking of all the near death experiences he's had with the monsters, but it all led back to Parker saving him.

He tried thinking about the people they saved, but it led back to him and Parker. He tried thinking about the girls they helped, Parker obviously liked them, he was straight, of course.

Wait. Why would it matter if Parker was straight or not?

Chester didn't care. They are only friends and have never and will never be anything more. For some reason that thought made Chester feel upset.

But why? He didn't like Parker. They were just friends. Just friends. Just friends. Chester shook the thought from his head, trying to forget about it.
It was then he heard the door click open.

'Chester? You're not having another cup of coffee are you? Seriously, this is like your 8th one!'

It was only Parker.

'God Parker, you scared me!' Chester replied, ignoring what his friend had just said.

'Oops. Well, you're still alive, so I think we'll be ok. Now help me put this stuff away.'

Chester sighed again and got up, grabbing two of the bags Parker had set on the floor. 'Damn. You sure got a lot of food.'

'It'll save me from having to go out again tomorrow, although knowing you there'll probably only be the butt piece of bread left for me in the morning.' Parker chuckled.

'Hey! I don't eat that much!'

'Sure, whatever you say bud.'

'I don't!'
