•Chapter 2: A Bet•

"WOOOOO! Go Snow!" "YOU GOT THIS SHADOW!" The crowd all cheered, watching Langa go against Hiromi again. He wanted a rematch and, considering everyone loved watching Langa play, he agreed. Kojiro and Kaoru leaned against the bad wall, watching the screen so they were out of view. Kojiro would occasionally cheer for one of them or make a noise in surprise, but Kaoru never said a word. Just watched,, not taking his eyes off the screen. Those two always stuck together unless one was in a race. Mainly because it's weird to stand alone. But also because they both knew who ran "S". He created it. And they knew he was always watching. That made Cherry very uncomfortable. It would make anyone uncomfortable if they knew exactly who Adam really was. However, they didn't stop coming. It was so much fun. Plus, they had friends to cheer on.

"He's doing really well, isn't he?" Kojiro said, lightly elbowing Kaoru. He hummed in response. 'It's amazing how this kid can pick up on skating so fast.' Kojiro thought to himself as he saw Hiromi and Langa show up in front of them, in the final stretch. Kojiro picked up his cheering for both of them as they raced down the path, fighting over who would reach the finish line first. "You got this kid!" Kojiro cheered, stepping forward some. Kaoru grinned slightly, leaning off of the wall he was leaning against, walking up beside him. "You sound like a soccer mom." Kaoru pointed out. Kojiro chuckled, running his fingers through his hair, fixing it. "Yea, what can I say! I'm proud of my children." Kaoru- rolled his eyes, watching as Langa, one again, beat Hiromi to the finish line. "DANG IT!" They heard Hiromi yell. Kojiro watched as Reki ran up to Langa, immediately hugging him. "Aww those two are adorable together, don't ya think Kaoru?" Kaoru glanced at Kojiro and shrugged, a slight grin appearing on his face. It was cute how Kojiro got all heart eyed seeing the two together. He definitely shipped it. I mean, they all did at this point. Who wouldn't. It's funny how oblivious the two were of each other.

"Aw, look at the two lovebirds." They heard from somewhere off to the side. Kaoru froze, immediately knowing who that voice belonged to. The very same person who had been showing up a lot more lately. Adam. Everyone immediately turned their head, seeing the same man with the blue spiked hair and mask. How he even managed to warp his short hair to do that was a wonder, but it didn't stop the pair standing off in the shadows from knowing who exactly was behind that mask of his. "Oh my gosh, it's Adam!" "He's so hot!" "He's back! Wonder who he's gonna challenge this time!" They heard people yelling all around them. If only the fangirls and fans truly knew. "Adam?! The fuck are you doing here?!" Reki yelled, stepping in front of Langa, shielding him from being able to reach him. "Aww that's no way to greet an old friend, is it? I just wanna say 'hi'." He said in his 'seductive' voice. Truly made the group want to shiver. He approached them, becoming face to face with Reki. "Come on, greet me in the right way." Reki shook his head, backing up some, taking Langa with him. It was clear he was scared.

"Whatever you want from them, it's not gonna happen Adam!" Kojiro yelled, bringing attention to them, making Kaoru want to disappear. Adam shot his head over, looking at the two. So did everyone else, and the camera, making them visible on the tv. "Woah, all three are here! What a coincidence!" "Omg it's Joe!" "Ahhh Cherry Blossom!" They heard surprised yelling all around them. Kaoru groaned. This was definitely not going to go well, he could tell. "Oh, my two favorite people. I'm surprised to see you two here after what happened last time. Especially you Cherry. How's your head?" Adam suddenly said after staring at the two. He started approaching the two as Kaoru spoke up. "Just fine, thanks. How's your ego?" He said in a sarcastic tone. He could tell Adam was getting quite agitated, just by the two being their. As he got closer, Kojiro stepped partially in front of Kaoru, just as Reki had, but not blocking him completely. Just enough to let Adam know he was not about to let him do anything to Kaoru again. At least without getting through him first.
