Author's note! I have decided to write my own Fairy Tail fanfiction featuring Natsu x Lucy because I have read a lot of really good ones written by people I will probably mention throughout the story. I do not own Fairy Tail. Any and all feedback is encouraged, and I would love suggestions! They would help me get through those parts where I get stuck and have NO idea what to write. IMPORTANT! The time of the story is after the Grand Magic Games. I won't give away anything (I'll try not to, especially since I don't know what's going to happen next either!).

A typical evening for the Fairy Tail guild. Natsu and Gray fight, knocking over tables, scorching and freezing various things around them. Men challenge Cana to drinking competitions as a cheerful Mirajane serves yet another slice of strawberry cake to Erza. Lucy sits at the counter laughing with Plue, one of her silver key Celestial Spirits, and one of her many companions.
A loud crash turns the heads of the guild members as they see that Gray had hit Natsu over the head with an exaggeratedly large ice mallet.
"How do you like that, fire-breath?" Gray taunted as he lifted the mallet off of Natsu.
Only he didn't reply.
"Natsu!" Lucy cried, worried for her partner and best friend. She rushed to his side, Plue clinging to her piggy-back style.
Lucy saw that he was breathing, but he still wouldn't wake up no matter how much she shook him.
"Knocking friends unconscious is definitely not a man!" exclaimed Elfman.
Erza appeared by her side, staring at Gray intently. He sighed, and trotted to the back of the guild where he then sat. Lucy, just noticing Erza beside her, jumped back startled. "Kyaaa!"
Unaffected by Lucy's scream, Titania effortlessly slung the sleeping Natsu over her shoulder and turned to Lucy.
"Lucy, you're Natsu's partner. Take him home to rest.."
Lucy opened her mouth to complain that Happy could carry him easier, but changed her mind. Happy was sitting at a table with Carla, trying relentlessly t make her accept a fish as a gift. They looked so cute together, she didn't want to hurt Happy's chances with her.
But how am I going to carry him home? she wondered. Where does Natsu even live anyway? I know he doesn't live in Fairy Tail.... But I have never seen his house....
Lucy looked at Erza in confusion. "Where does he live?"
Her face scrunched up in thought. "Actually, I don't know either," She turns around, facing the rest of the guild. "Who here knows where Natsu lives?"
Everyone murmured, realising tha nobody in Fairy Tail had ever seen or even been to his house. Especially lately, Natsu had been sleeping at Lucy's house every night.
"It's settled then," Erza said, turning to Lucy once again. "You will let Natsu rest at your house until the morning."
