This chapter is dedicated to Cassidy for being such a good friend, Fairy Tail lover, Otaku, and practically yelling at me to continue writing the story. You so cool Gal! Again, please comment, review, ect. I love to write but I never finish any of my stories. If I get enough encouragement (and threats) maybe I will actually end up finishing this, who knows! Love you all, enjoy!

LUCY POV.
Letting him into my house again definitely wasn't at the top of my to-do list, but I didn't really have a choice in the matter. I sighed, looking over at Natsu sleeping comfortably on my bed. He almost looked.... cute lying there. His nose twitched a little bit and I had to suppress a giggle. How could the great Salamander, the most powerful mage I knew, look so innocent?
It was't as difficult getting Natsu back to my apartment I thought it would be. Out of all my spirits, it wasn't hard finding one strong enough to carry him. Since I wasn't in the mood for any questioning from Loke or perverted comments from Taurus, I summoned Virgo to carry him home for me. Of coarse, she immediately asked if it was punishment, to which I told her no. I would never 'punish' my friends!
I yawned, stretching my arms to the ceiling. It was late, and I better get to bed soon too. Natsu and I had been planning to go out on a job today since I was running low on money and this month's rent was coming up. I tip-toed quietly over to my couch where Natsu had left my extra blanket and pillow from when he broke into my house the night before.
I drifted off to sleep, surrounded by the faint relaxing smell of his skin against the sheets.

NATSU POV.
I smell..... Lucy. Her scent is strong, as if I were in a place she was in often. Opening my eyes slowly so I didn't hurt them with the bright light of the morning sun, I noticed I was in Lucy's bed. How did I end up here? Wasn't I just fighting Gray? I remembered him hitting me with a giant hammer, but after that.........
I was going to have to kill that Popsicle later.
I sat up in Lucy's bed and looked around the apartment. Where was she? Doesn't she usually make me sleep on the.... couch.
Lucy was bundled up on the couch, sleeping deeply. Her lips moved slightly, mumbling words to a dream. Her pillow had fallen off of the couch, so her head was on the armrest. Remembering last time that happened to me I picked up the pillow and slid it gently under her. Neck pain in the morning could make her very grumpy.
I sighed, then entered the kitchen. There has to be something to eat in here. The fridge held some milk, eggs, cheese and some peppers.
Perfect I thought. Just enough to make us some omelets.

NORMAL POV.
Lucy woke to a loud banging noise. Curiously, she got up and headed towards it's source, the kitchen. There were cooking supplies everywhere . A guilty looking Natsu was eating an omelet at the counter, ignoring the mess around him. on the floor was the object the made the noise.
A broken glass plate.
Walking around Natsu, Lucy grabbed a broom and dustpan then began cleaning up the mess. He looked like he was pretending not to notice, but he was actually trying to hide the blush of shame clouding his cheeks.
"I'm sorry," Natsu said quietly after Lucy had finished. "It was an accident, I was just making breakfast."
"Well I can see that," she retorted, glancing at Natsu's now empty plate. "Nice of you to make yourself breakfast with the last of my food."
"Oi!" Natsu exclaimed defensively. "I made you some too." He then pulled out another plate with an omelet on it from behind him.
Lucy smiled weakly and accepted the omelet. Cautiously, she took a bite. "Wow Natsu, I didn't know you could cook!"
"Well when your magic is something usually used to cook, you pick up on a few things," the fire mage replied.
"Huh," she finished her meal quickly and they left for the guild to accept a job.
A job that would lead to the seperation of family.
