[DISCONTINUED] Moth to a Flame (Scp x Sky:CotL)

Chapter 9

Moth was currently hanging out with Fox, being supervised by him while they were drawing.

Fox was basically like an older bro along with Guardian, instead being like the laid back and cool one that always take out his younger siblings to an ice cream parlor.

Fox patted Moth's head and Moth let out a honk that sounded like a purr, Fox then showed his drawing, him flying on top of a huge manta and doing a dance during the aurora concert.

Moth then held up their picture, all of them together while Dr. Graham and Dr. Claymore were looking all happy.

Tangerine and Amethyst came barreling in and tackling moth, showing off a photo that pertained their latest prank.

Using Mr. Deeds to switch out the pizza sauce with chili sauce, it wasn't as spicy but it was still spicy enough that it gave an extra kick, and a trip to the bathroom.

Fox looked proud and looked like he was gonna shed tears of joy while Moth tilted their head, a little bit worried about the staff getting an uneasy stomach.

But not them they were just getting the Tv remote, and arguing about whether they were watching Octonauts or The Wonder pets.

Blue Jay was carriage 053 to scp-682's containment area, but little did she knew about the lizard or the fact that this was a cross test.

Blue Jay entered and looked in surprise at the giant and decayed lizard, the lizard looked back and he looked confused about blue Jay but he turned pleasant when Scp-053 looked excited to see him and introducing him to the tall humanoid who waved at him in a respectful and friendly wave holding no disrespect or malice towards him.

682 only huffed at her before laying down, letting 053 play with his hair, and he tolerated Blue Jay who was carefully getting out the knots.

Guardian hissed at the staff for tricking him into a cross test with scp-3199

"Guardian these are humans, refuted, there is only a small amount, you can do whatever method you see fit to terminate them." Said Dr. Claymore.

Guardian only glared at the researchers behind the glass before spinning his spear and turning it around to throw it like he was throwing a baseball, the instance turned only to get pierced through the face, Guardian quickly grabbed the spear and began swinging it skillfully and giving a round house kick to one of the instances.

In a span of several minutes Guardian had taken out several instances of Scp-3199.

And with that he left by opening the door and quietly walked away.

Blue Jay was happily picking apart the mint chocolate chip ice cream, eating the ice cream before getting to all of the tiny bits of chocolate chip.

Blue Jay then spotted Wren, a cold feeling crawled up to her, causing her to shiver, and it wasn't just the ice cream.

Blue Jay heard from Fox about what happened, and couldn't help but feel sorry for Fox's feelings being deeply hurt by Wren, so when she noticed Wren approaching her, Blue Jay stood up and left quickly, not wanting to talk the researcher, seeing someone who didn't defend Fox it just left her feeling uncomfortable.

Meanwhile Wren was confused, she hasn't seen Fox for the past few days, the twins outright refused to acknowledge her, Guardian avoids her like the plague, even moth shivers uncontrollably when she's near going to the presence of the others where they just give her a pitiful glance before leaving.

They few scps that have interacted with them haven't gotten a clue why, but it seems that only one knew the answer, and that being Scp-049.

Wren was speaking to him through the glass just asking why they have an unpleasant attitude towards her.

Scp-049 at first seemed reluctant to answer, but after a bit of pleading, 049 shook his head and told her.

"The conversation you had with your..... acquaintances about Fox, he had overheard them and he left.... I witnessed him walking down the hallway looking sad, he then explained the situation." Said Scp-049.

Wren looked shocked, he had overheard the conversation? Then why would he be so- oh

He left early before he could even heard her yelling at them!

"Oh shit- that was- He left before he heard me yelling at them!" Said Wren, Scp-049 hummed in response his eyes growing a bit wide before lessening into a narrow, now understanding the full situation.

"Even if you did try to apologize Dr. Baranov, I'm sure that the others will try to get you away from Fox." Said Scp-049.

After telling her a few important details about them, Wren was prepared to apologize, she skillfully distracted the twins and moth through the most easiest and quickest way possible, Scp-458, the anomalous pizza box.

Guardian soon followed after them, his brotherly instincts of safety for the little ones overcame him as he spotted Moth eating pizza before being taken by Dr. Bright.

Blue Jay was acting as a therapeutic support mom as she was comforting Scp-166 in a breakdown for not even getting to know her parents.

Dr. Baranov held a small gift for Fox, as a way for him to feel better.

As she quickly paced down the hallway she heard a siren as the lights turned red, an scp got out!

Dr. Baranov looked around for a safe space but then she saw the scp that got out, Scp-939, it's jaws drooled as if it was starving.

Dr. Baranov froze, she couldn't move, she shut her eyes as Scp-939 approached rapidly, ready to pounce.

But it didn't come, Dr. Baranov opened her eyes and saw Fox his stance barely wavering as scp-939's jaws were biting down on a giant block of stone.

"Fox-!" Said Dr. Baranov before Fox quickly sliced off Scp-939's head with his cape, impressively carrying Wren princess style into his containment room.

"Look Fox, there has been a huge misunderstanding, youseeafteryouleftyouprobablydidn'thearmeyelling atthemaboutmakingfunofyouandwhythey areoutoftheirminds- what I'm trying to say-" Said Wren before Fox put his finger against his lower face, before taking out a letter.

It was folded neatly even had it addressed to her.

Taking a deep breathe she nervously opened it, she whispered it to herself while Fox only looked at the table besides him.

First to clear off the bad uncertainty about the situation, I have heard from the Plague Doctor, and I am not pleased with myself for acting very quickly to you for the past several days, I apologize for making you worry about my condition, and I apologize if any of my friends acted very poorly, they have been with me for a long time and they care about me very deeply, so you could say that they were unreasonably upset about the situation.

I won't excuse my behavior, that was a grave mistake on my part. But I'm glad that you care about me as much as I care about you, that I certainly didn't deserve for acting unkind.

I am completely sorry, and I want to thank you for being with me, and putting up with my shenanigans, you may not have been expecting me to suddenly burst into your life and I certainly didn't expect yours to impact mine. I enjoyed all of the times we have spent together, and the very warmth I felt when being around you is hotter than any flame I had encountered before I met you, though I have many flaws that certainly don't make me by any means 'attractive' by your kind's standards, I want to make you feel happier and special the way you make me special and happier.

Still even if you reject me, I still hope we can be great friends together, even if that means that one day that we will have to go back to our separate worlds and lives.
