Trust

"Grab my hand!" I say in slight distress as the boy is standing on crumbling ground, whilst I hang onto a cliff, my waist being tied to a rope, rapd(I know it's wrong but idk how to spell good and don't want it to seem like r@ped sorry please correct me if I'm wrong). Anyways how we got into this situation is a long story that we don't have time for, about the boy, his name is (___) we have been through ups and downs most with me backstabbing him.
"How can I trust you won't let me fall!"
God is he being serius?? This is a matter between life and death with his life on the line! But the more I thought about it the more he had a point I had let him down many times like once when he asked me on a date I said I would go but...I didn't I stayed home probably watching TV I don't know it was a long time ago!

"H-how can I know you won't let me Die!"

He was right I am capable of murder I've done it before and I'm capable of doing it again. Suddenly I go motionless, I stop breathing as all the adventures I had with him, all the times I hurt him, flash before my eyes, I realize I let him down multiple times and yet I blame him...
I realize he is the reason I'm so powerful he helped me get my magic back and I did nothing to deserve it.

"I have to make it right." I mutter under my breath
"What?!"
"I-...You can't," I say answering his previous two questions
"What... what do you mean you can't?!"
"You cant trust me to make sure don't fall."
He stays silent. His (eye color) eyes staring into mine.
"B-but, isn't that all a part of life? Taking risks and learning from them? Good or bad you learn something from it and remember it for next time?"
"..." he's silent probably regretting helping me, regretting meeting me... I don't judge him I would too if I were him, I've been a very very bad friend to him.
"I am sorry for letting you down every single time you tried to do something nice for me"
The ground beneath him shakes he hesitates for a bit but he grabs my hand
