Chapter 15) Fluttering HEART

In the darkness of the night, A man was hiding himself as the entire room was full of cigrette smoke.

His piercing gazes observed the night. It was a sharp 12'O clock at night. The employees went back to their houses. No one was present there but still in his chamber, Dennis was sitting all alone. His heart was lonely and cold. Sleep was nowhere in his eyes.

What Dennis wanted was only lost love. His broken and unhealed heart still fluttered for him.

His ALDEN. .

A sudden knock caused him to broke the butt of the cigarette and glanced at the door.

A feminine figure entered into the chamber as she smiled warmly at him.

"You are smoking so much. You should think about your health. And why are you still here? Don't you have to go home?", She asked him and Dennis turned around as he looked at the window sil.

"Is all the work done?", Dennis asked her

"Yes Boss Kang. Everything is done. I am not your secretary but i am doing all your work without getting paid", She said and Dennis glanced at her.

"Go to your home. I am going. If you need anything give me a call", She said and Dennis did not reply to her.

She arranged the files on his desk and put a file of the recent work on it and left the chamber silently.

"Miss Rivera", Dennis suddenly spoke in his gruffy tone.

She stopped and looked back at him.

"Thank you for your hardwork", Dennis said and Isabella Rivera smiled softly at him.

"It's not necessary, Boss Kang", Isabella said and she left him.

She sighed weakly while walking to the corridor of the company. She was well aware of his insomnia and how difficult for him to sleep in the night. All the medical efforts and medicines were useless in his insomnia.

On the other hand, The guard smiled and said, "I saw a man following you sometimes. He is very handsome and every night, his luxury black car always parked in front of the building no. A-3. And A-3 is your building right? 

Alden's heart jumped suddenly when he heard the words, he tried to stabilize his emotions, and then pursed his lips as he asked the guard, "Uncle, Are you sure that someone was following me?"

"Yes, I am sure", The guard told him. 

"The feeling of being followed was true. I was not paranoid that time", Alden thought

"Did that person really look at my building? maybe it wasn't for me?", Alden said but the guar shook his head and said with a certain tone, "I once saw that man stepping out of the car while staring at your house".

The guard looked at Alden's face and continued to say, "You live on the first floor. Park Eun Woo lives on the second floor. The third floor is empty as they come occasionally. So, it was easy for all the guards to check upon the new faces in the community area", The guard spoke and Alden was actually scared here. 

"That young man, he is so handsome, better-looking than the stars. I see him coming here every night and staying here all night, but I haven't seen him talking to anyone. I feel strange. Now, I just saw you here, so I stopped by to ask if you know about it or not?", The guard said and Alden's heart throbbed.

He asked the guard, "Uncle, how many nights has he been here?"

The guard said without thinking, "Already 4-5 nights and he always comes in between 1-2 in the nights and leaves exactly at 6'O clock in the morning. It's the timing of my shift also"

"4-5 nights? Wouldn't it count the night Dennis sent me back?", Alden thought

"Doesn't he sleep? He comes at 1-2 at night and leaves at 6 in the morning"

"Do you know him?", The guard asked him.

"I know him. He . . He is my uhh old friend ", Alden stuttered as he said.

"That's good then please tell him to wear proper clothes. Winter is still at its peak. Standing outside of the car, under the cold sky will make him sick. If you two have any conflicts then make it clear earlier", The guard said to him.

Alden understood that guard had misconception about their relationship. He opened his mouth and still didn't say anything.

The guard left while smiling and Alden returned to the house. He quickly hid himself under the quilt as he was shivering due to the cold. 

His mind was filled with Dennis's thoughts as he did not pay attention to the time. Peach was already sleeping soundlessly. But the words of the guard continue to echoing in his mind.

"Why my heart is saying that it's all done by him? From Luca, Sara and this exclusive door. It's all his work", Alden blabbered as he was reasoning with himself

"So what if that is really the case?"  But whether or not, I will know the answer tonight. I will wait to check at the situation", Alden continued to talk.

He was curious and nervous as he was unable to close his eyes. So he stood at the window sil and took a position and looked downstairs.

Alden did not know if he was lucky or what but as soon as he stood at the window, he found a luxury black car stopped near the gate and the bright headlights of the car closed down to the next second.

Alden clearly saw that the car was indeed parked in front of the building where he lived.

And the car model was familiar too. This was the same car in which he returned from the club and also from the hospital.

His heart Fluttered as in such a small and poor community, chances to afford to use these types of expensive cars were nil.

So, at this moment, There was no doubts in his heart.

"He is here again. Uncle was right", Alden spoke as he watched at the time. It was one in the night. He picked up the key, opened the main door of the house and locked it, leaving sleeping Peach inside of it and trotted downstairs.

He ran fastly as he could while his heart was pounding crazily inside his chest. He did not know what kind of emotions he was feeling right now.

But he wanted to meet Dennis. He wanted to see him. Alden's eyes turned red as the cold air hitted his eyes and tears formed in his eyes. His face turned red due to cold but his body was not thinking about the cold at all.

It was the same emotions, he felt when they shared their first kiss.
