a/n: So I realized I posted the wrong chapter last time, so this is actually chapter six, those who read Reluctantly Remembering you read chapter seven... sorry about that.

Waking up the next day was uncomfortable. They knew about her, her secret was out. And yet instead of embracing it, she was about to do something even more drastic. Walking through my house I almost jump when I see Vision in my lounge room, hovering over the floor.

"Vision... hey" I mumble greet awkwardly as I place my bag down on the floor and turn to Rain and collect her lead and tie it to her collar. "Good morning Y/n. Sorry did I come at a bad time?" he asks whilst looking down at Rain.

"No, you're fine, everything ok?" I ask standing up and straightening out my jacket. He tilts his head "Yes everything appears to be fine, I just wanted to check on you after yesterday... are you heading somewhere?"

I bite down on my tongue unsure how to answer his question. "I'm as well as I could be I suppose. And yeah I am going away for a little while and I was about to go find someone to look after Rain" I trail off as Rain sits and stares at Vision, wagging her tail.

"We can look after her?" He offers, I look at him taken a back. "Are you sure? She is well mannered and trained... but have you ever looked after a dog?" He shakes his head. "No... but I'm sure Wanda and I will be able to work something out. Besides we have the team if needed to give us a hand" I nod, and begin explaining everything he needs to know about looking after Rain.

"Ok... that doesn't sound too difficult, may I ask how long will you be gone for?" I tilt my head as I pick up my bag. "Yet to be determined, probably a couple weeks" He looks at me suspiciously before sighing. He then notices something on my coffee table and frowns even further. "What are they?" He asks hovering over and picking up the collection of envelopes, I try to snatch them out of his hand but he stares at me.

Sighing I pinch my nose, "Precautionary, unimportant" He tilts his head and looks down at the envelopes once more "Why are they addressed to us?" He asks staring at the one addressed Tony. I sheepishly look away.

"What have you gotten yourself involved in now?" He asks like a disappointed parent. I shrug my shoulders, just as the sound of a portal opening fills the room as does the orange sparks that open up into the New York Sanctum, Wong stares at me through the portal. And I sheepishly turn to Vision who stares at Wong then looks to me.

"You don't want to know" I say before waving him goodbye and stepping through the portal, which closes up behind me and seals me in.

Exhaling a deep breath I look around at the broken down room, the same one I was in a couple of days ago. Only Strange and Wong aren't the only people here, there are a couple of more people. And it makes my breath hitch as they walk over to me with trepidation and distrust.

"Y/n, thank you for agreeing to help us" Wong says I smile fleetingly and my gaze sweeps through the small gathering of people. Some I recognized, others I didn't. Natasha looked at me with a small smile, her hair was long and wavy with darker strands of hair compared to her usual fiery red. "It's nice to meet you, Rain" She smiles and I nod smiling back. Clint scoffs leaning back against one of the bookshelves, instead of his gelled back hair his hair is cut short, into a buzz cut and his face is decorated with small cuts and scarring.
