Stuck in the past

“Hello mina- i mean spike. Sorry. Ive been working on it.” the teacher politely said

”Its fine miss jane” he said

”Thank you, im really trying to understand it.” she said softly

”Its fine. Really.” spike said again

”Oh. Who might this be?” she said looking at Kup and Leia ”you look quite young to be in this class.”

”Oh thanks. I think. Anyway, im Leia” Leia said softly

”I hope you do know this school doesn't allow dyed hair though hun” jane said

”Her hair isnt dyed. Its natural” spike said

”I don't know if i believe that dear” jane said

”Fine. Ill be back. Just possibly not in this class possibly tomorrow though” leia said starting to walk out the door

Kup grabbed her hand ”what do you think your doing?” he asked slightly irritated with jane

”Just trust me okay? Ill see you at lunch. Kay?”

”Fine. Ill see you at lunch.” Kup said letting go of her watching her disappear in the halls

”What do you think shes going to do?” jane asked the two boys

”To be honest i dont know. Leia is the type to not say what she is going to do.” spike added

”She really isn't she is very secretive” Kup also adds

”Oh okay. Good to know.” jane replied

When Leia got out of the school she looked out for nearest store that will carry hair dye. She muttered to herself ”this is so strange. Seeing the town i grew up in but it was so long ago”

“Ma’am are you lost?” a man that looked to be about spikes age taped leia's shoulder

”Oh im fine, sorry i'm just looking for a store that carries hair dye” leia said

”Oh! Its the kind lady that gave me her sharktacon figure!” the boy from before said

”I remember you kiddo. Whats your name?” leia asked

”Im frank ma’am whats your name?” the small boy asked her

”Leia. Its a pleasure meeting you” she said shaking his hand

”Princess?” frank asked

”Sure am.” leia said

”But you dont look like her.” frank said

”Im about to change that. I got in trouble in school about my hair color.” leia added

”As soon as i drop little frank off at school i can help you get some at the store” his older brother said

”Oh. Thanks.” leia said

After they dropped frank off

”If you don't mind me asking, how old is frank. And how old are you? On another note what's your name?” leia asked softly

”I'm red. I'm 19. Frank is 9 he is in third grade.” he said

”Why was he so late for school?” leia asked politely

”He wasnt feeling very good this morning. So i kept him home for the morning but he said he felt better.”  red said

”Makes sense i guess. My parents never did anything like that for me.” leia said softly

”I'm not his parent, you know that right?”

”I know but you still let him stay home so that was nice nice of you.” leia commented

”thanks. I think." Red said

"If you don't mind me asking-" Leia got cut off

"Where are his parents?" Red said

"You knew it. How?"

"I get it alot. They are out of town for a while." Red said

"Oh. Okay."

“So what do you need from the store” red asked after a few seconds of silence

”Hair dye”

”Oh, what color?”  he asked politely then added ”it better not be a unique color like that blond color you have now. Or on that one side.”

”Im going to dye it black. Thats going to be easiest” leia said

”I bet it is. Anyway here we are. ” he said approaching the store

“Thanks red” Leia said walking in the store

“It’s no problem, Leia was it?”

“It is, I’ll see you around okay?” Leia adds right before going into the store

“Yep I’ll see you.” He walks away

When Leia found the hair dye she grabbed the dye, paid and left. She got home to be greeted by Hannah’s mom.

“What are you doing here so early?” She asked

“Oh they said my hair was not acceptable so I went and bought hair dye. I’ll be back to school in about 45 minutes. I promise Sky”

“Okay, sorry they didn’t let you in” she said

“It’s fine, where I come from it was fine so I guess I should have assumed it wasn’t okay here” Leia said

“I’m curious about where you came from”

“If you help me with my hair I’ll tell you all about it…if you want” Leia said softly

“Deal.” Sky said

Leia left out a lot of details but told sky the just of everything about they were all of the sudden there, she didn’t say anything about how she’s from the future or anything like that but eventually her hair was done and stuff so she had to go back to the school.
