Sometimes You Have To Clear Somethings

Rain really thinks he needs to check his ears. Sky tells him something, but Rain is far from believing it.

"What?" Rain asks and becomes very still.

"Rain, I had sex with Prapai," Sky says, raising his voice slightly. Phayu looks devastated. He doesn't know who he should comfort.


They watch. There are tears in his eyes. But his following words shock them all-














"FINALLY! AFTER A FUCKING MONTH. FINALLY!" Rain yells from the top of his lungs and hugs his friend. Sky and Phayu are officially confused.

"Wait, what?" Sky asks, dumbfounded, while Pai is chuckling.

"Finally. Now he will stop whining about how hot and sexy you look." Rain says with a huff and an eye-roll.

"Says the one who always strips Phayu with his eyes." Pai fires back with a smirk, to which Rain blushes.

"But, but…why..are you okay with that?" Sky asks speechlessly.
"That's exactly what I want to know," Phayu adds.

"Umm, why wouldn't I be happy when my hia gets the love of his life that he always whines about?" Rain replies with a confused look. He tilts his head like a confused puppy.

"HIA?" "WAIT, HIA?" Two voices yell, and Rain covers his ears because of the noise.

"Stop yelling," Pai says, cupping Rain's face gently with his hands and asking softly.

"Hey, little brother. Are you okay?" Rain nods and opens his eyes, which he doesn't remember closing.

"Kai Prapai Phoenix Theerapanyakun. Explain, now!" Phayu says in a dangerously dead voice. It sends shivers down Pai's, Rain's, and Sky's spines.

"Well…ummm. You see.. my best friend, my saviour, my god, my diaper friend, my lovely storm, my third love of the life-"

"Explain. Before I make you, you know you won't like it." Prapai's fake praise got cut off as Phayu glares. But before Prapai can say anything, Rain beats him to it.

"Phi. We are brothers." Rain states simply.

Phayu and Sky snap their heads so fast that Rain thinks they will break their bones and look at him like an alien.

(Sky) "WHAT? Explain now.
" (Phayu) "WHAT THE FUCK?"

"DON'T TELL ME… You didn't tell them?" Rain semi-yells at Pai, and Pai looks guilty.

"I am really sorry. I forgot about that in between your papers and getting you here. Also, they never asked." Pai defends himself.

"Whatever. We will have a brief discussion afterwards. Well, my parents and I used to live in Korea, and P'Pai's dad and mine are best friends. When I turned 18, my parents said they wanted to divorce. After the divorce, custody went to my dad. But then he suddenly passed away in an accident. My custody, dad's company, all that money, and the shares in my name would have fallen under my stepmom's ownership. So, before he passed away, he put me fully into his will and didn't give my stepmother a penny. Which I'm so happy about as she 'excuse my language' was a total bitch. My biological mother didn't want me. She was only 19 or 20 when she was pregnant with me. So, dad appointed P'Pai's dad as my guardian. Uncle knew about it, so he adopted me last year. Since my company is big, dad (Pai's dad) and hia are teaching me how to take care of the business. As I'm still a student, dad is handling both companies. So, that's it."

Rain takes a deep breath and gulps down the whole glass of water he had picked up from the table. Then, taking a deep breath, he looks at a speechless Sky and Phayu.

"What?" Rain asks self-consciously.

"Wait, so that day in the mall, when you told each other 'I love you', that…that," Sky asks hesitantly, still unsure what to do or say.

"Ohh. That day, when we were in the mall, we accidentally met my stepmother. She was with her new boyfriend, and she.. umm. She said something bad to me. Big bro was only making sure I didn't take it to heart as-"

"She is bitch," Rain gets cut off by Pai cursing. Phayu and Sky are still unsure if this is a dream or reality.

"And what about that day when I came, but you were here in the morning?" Phayu asks, still processing what is happening in his head.

"Ohh yea, I told you they adopted me. So, my uncle said I shouldn't live alone, and hia was also against it. So I agreed to live with them." Rain shrugs.  

"Well, what did you think?" Rain looks at them questioningly as their inquiries don't make sense.

"We obviously thought you were lovers," Sky answers for both of them. He knows P'phayu thought the same thing.

"WHAT? HIM? NOT EVEN OVER MY DEAD BODY!" Rain shouts, jumping away from Pai, just as Pai shouts back, leaping out of the way simultaneously, "BELIEVE ME. I DON'T EVEN WANT YOU."

"Wait. So that's why you didn't accept my flirting." Rain suddenly points his finger at Phayu.

"What? That was flirting?" Phayu asks in disbelief. Rain attempts were good with Sky, but he would shutter whenever he was in front of Phayu.

Prapai laughs, holding his stomach at Phayu's question. But then he straightens up and pats Rain's head. "It's okay. You still have so many things to learn, little bro."

"Sky, as much as I love my hia, he is damn annoying. I prefer P'Phayu, so please take him. He is all yours." Rain says with a smirk while moving to Phayu's side.

"Let's go."

"Where?" Phayu asks but is already being dragged away by Rain.

"On a date, Phi. You like me, and I liked you. We have so manyyyyy things to sort out."

Phayu wraps his hand around Rain's waist and leads them away.

"Whatever my darling wishes."

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do, and use protection. Yu, I don't want to be an uncle this early." Pai shouts as Phayu and Rain leave, leaving Rain as red as a human tomato.

"So, that's it?" Sky asks softly. They are the only ones left in the big house now.

"Yep."

"Are you serious about me?"

"Yes, more than I have ever been."

"So, what do you think we should do now?"

"Wanna go for a fourth round?" Pai smirks as Sky blushes.

"Well, take me on a date first, Mr Gentleman."

"Your wish is my command, my Sky."

Phayu and pai r not cousins and i have used the Theerapanyakun surname because i like it that way
