"No, no, no hold on!" Harumi's voice echoed in the abyss, as she watched the only man she ever loved fall to his demise. "Lloyd!!" Harumi shot up in her bed, cold sweat dripping down her face. Her breathing pattern was uneven, and heavy. She headed to her bathroom to wipe the cold sweat off her face.
"You ok?" Harumi whipped around, and was met by Lloyd's tired, and very concerned face. His blonde hair that Harumi so loved was messy, his green eyes still glowing a vibrant lively green.
"Y-yeah I-I'm ok. It was just a nightmare."
"Rumi, you've been getting nightmares ever since we were in the future, or that's when I started to notice them.
"Ok, maybe I'm not ok."
"Rumi, I'm here just talk to me."
"I- It's the same dream every night."
"Tell me about it."
"C-can we go to your room?"
"Yeah, come on." Lloyd placed his hand on her lower back and gilded her half asleep body to his room. Lloyd walked with Harumi over to his bed, he patted the spot next to him motioning her to sit down.
"It's the same dream, the same horrible dream. It repeats the same moment over and over and over and it never stops until I wake up."
"What's the 'clip' that keeps replaying?"
"Its- its you.. Falling to your death and I try to help but I can't seem to keep my hold on you and you fall!" Harumi cried into Lloyd's chest.
"Rumi, I'm ok. We're here right now, there's nothing to worry about." Lloyd ran his hands through Harumi's silky white hair. "I'm here." Lloyd breathed out.
Harumi felt Lloyd's breath on her neck, his soft breathing tickling her skin. "Lloyd?"
"Yeah, Rumi?"
"Can I stay here tonight?"
"Yeah, of course. Do you want to talk more? Or just sleep?"
"Mmhh, just sleep." Harumi snuggled her head into Lloyd's neck.
"Ok." Lloyd shifted his position so he and Harumi could lay down. "Good night, again." the boy let out a breathy sigh.
"I love youuu." Harumi wrapped her arms around Lloyd's torso. Lloyd smiled at his lover's sleepy state.
"I love you too." Lloyd whispered before he fell asleep.
{Morning}
"Dad.." Aaron's voice trailed off when he saw Harumi asleep with Lloyd. "Aww..."
"Hey, Aaron..." Nya walked past Aaron but stopped when she was the sight that Aaron was seeing.
"It's sweet right?"
"Yeah."
"Let's leave them be, I bet she had another nightmare." Aaron closed the door to Lloyd's room.
"Nightmare?" Nya was confused, the Quiet One, one of ninjago's greatest villains, got nightmares."
"Yeah, she gets them all the time, now and in the future." Aaron sighed, while walking to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Hey Aaron, Nya!" Cole called coming out of the kitchen with a pile of pancakes. "Where's Lloyd and Harumi?"
"They're asleep." Aaron said, walking past Cole.
"Well I'll go wake them up!" Kai started to leave but Nya stopped him.
"Just... leave them to sleep, Kai."
Kai looked at Aaron confused, "What?"
"I said let them sleep, you can ask questions later and let them explain later."
"Umm... ok." Kai walked into the kitchen to get some pancakes.
Harumi and Lloyd were still sleeping, it had been a rough night after all. Harumi was sleeping peacefully, her head laying on Lloyd's chest, Harumi could hear Lloyd's steady heartbeat, felt as his chest rose and fell when he breathed, it made her feel peaceful and safe. Lloyd had one of his arms loosely draped over Harumi's back. He slowly started to wake up, he could feel Harumi's head on his chest. He looked down at his love and gave a sweet, loving, smile.
"Morning princess." Lloyd whispered when Harumi lifted her head for her glassy blue eyes to meet his emerald green eyes.
"I'm not a princess anymore, weirdo." Harumi placed her hand on Lloyd's cheek.
"But, to me, you are."
"That's sweet, but don't we need to get up? We have to fight today."
"I know... also, did you have any more nightmares?"
"Nope, thanks to you." Lloyd's princess got up from bed, checked herself in the mirror, decided she didn't look like a raccoon that got into a fist fight, and walked over to the door to leave.
"No, no, no, no. Not without a proper goodbye." Lloyd spun Harumi to face him and planted a small kiss on her lips. "Ok, you can leave, and get ready."
"Thank you, I'll see you around." Harumi then left Lloyd's room.
"Hey, mom!"
"Aaron, call me Rumi or Harumi, 'mom' sounds weird."
"Sorry, Rumi. Oh, that sounds wrong."
"Hey everyone!" Lloyd called now walking into the dinning room from the kitchen.
"Hey, Lloyd!" Harumi motioned to Lloyd for him to sit next to her.
"So..." Kai looked at Lloyd then at Harumi and back at Lloyd.
"So, what?"
"So, why was Aaron telling me to leave you two alone?" Kai raised his eyebrows at the now blushing couple. They knew Aaron had either seen them, heard them, or the same kind of thing happened in the future.
"Umm..." Harumi looked at Lloyd, who softly shook his head as an indication to leave it for now. "I.. don't know."
"Ok." Kai rolled his eyes and went back to eating.
"So.. who's excited to defeat Crux today?" Cole wanted to break some of the tension in the room.
"I am!" Nya was excited to defeat Crux, hopefully once and for all, after everything he did.
The rest of the group replied with, yep's and you bet's. Harumi was excited to finish off Crux, but she knew Aaron would have to go back to the future. She would miss Aaron, she had gotten used to him after these few months with him, (about 2).
"What about you Rumi?" Lloyd snapped the quiet girl out of her thoughts.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah I'm excited to finally get rid of Crux." Harumi went back to eating, Lloyd knew something was on her mind. He would ask her later.
