How I got to live in my best friend's house

CHAPTER 1: The fight
Jaden..god I FUCKING HATE HIM and jackson..? him too..I FUCKING HATE THEM..they bullied me and my best friend Maddie.. we.want.them.DEAD.but, they're not dead..well, not yet...
“Hey you alright Jaden? We all need your help with something.” Jackson called out after he saw his best friend sit up from the bed where they were waiting for him.
He just stood there staring at him blankly before nodding his head. then, I come in. "Well, Well, well, Kaydence, this is a surprise" Jaden said
"Shut up already" I said "AND I TOLD YOU, IM NON BINARY, SO MY NAME IS KAYDE NOW". "Well, you being NoN bInArY IS A FUCKING DISGRACE TO GOD" Jaden and jackson yelled.. I slapped them hard "FUCK YOU HOMOPHOBIC PEICES OF SHIT" I yelled back  at them
"YOU'RE JUST A BLUNDERED STRAWBERRY" Jackson yelled back at me
"A WHAT?!" I laughed
Jackson slapped me across the face, and we were at school but I didn't care, so he started the fight so we fought  and it escalated from there..
It wasn't pretty..blood was going everywhere and a few people were recording, and then Jaden fought me too, so I grabbed my pocket knife and slashed them and it got very escalated and then the school police officer came with other administrators and they pulled us apart.
We were taken to different rooms until the police man had calmed everything down. I didn't really like it there..it made me feel uneasy even though it was only one room.. I hated the way they kept calling me names and saying that it was my fault and that it was my fault that things happened..it wasn't my fault! they called my mom and handed the phone to me, my mom said "KAYDE!!! DID YOU START IT!?!? AND ARE YOU FUCKING HURT!?!?!".. "No, I didn't start it and yes I got hurt pretty badly" I replied  while crying "I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING MYSELF!". Then she hung up so I went onto the hospital bed in the nurses room. a minute later I heard Maddies footsteps running toward the nurses office "KAYDE, ARE YOU OK?!" "no.. I got hurt pretty badly"  she took her seat on the chair next to me "I know" she looked around, making sure no one could see us talking.. then she turned back to me, she cupped my cheek "You don't deserve this..don't worry, I'm here, you'll be alright". I started to sob and hug her  as tightly as possible, then she started to rub my back. After what seemed like hours of crying I calmed down..when we both calm down, I heard my mom's footsteps  again and she entered "I swear to God if he did anything to you..I'll KILL HIM!"..then she went on..she started screaming at Jackson "WHAT DID YOU DO, JACKSON??!!?" She looked furious as well and I could see her shaking with anger, then her face softened "Maddie, you can leave now.."  she told Maddie who left with tears streaming down her cheeks. My mom went over to me and wrapped her arms around me and began crying into my shoulder "Oh, baby..what happened..you're bleeding..you poor thing...where are you hurt..did he do this?".."yea,  momma, it was Jaden and Jackson.." I sniffed "who are Jaden and Jackson?" "They were the ones who started the fight.." my mother sighed heavily "I'm gonna kill them." she whispered through gritted teeth, "Let's go to the ER then we can get ice cream, since they are as beat up as you, ok? my mom said sympathetically , I nodded silently and followed her out of the room, holding her hand as we walked.   CHAPTER 3: ER

As we walked out we ran into an older woman holding a small boy. she smiled at me and gave me a gentle pat "Hello dear!" She smiled kindly and held out her hand "my name is Dr. Morgan, I'll be your doctor  today!" she said, I smiled back at
her "can you tell me what happened?" Dr. Morgan asked. "Well.. I got into a bad fight-" my physical pain cut me off, my adrenaline calmed down and I was hurting bad , I couldn't talk anymore without screaming. "What hurts?" Dr. Morgan asked as she put her stethoscope to my chest. "My stomach, my head, my arms, my side, everywhere" I gasped out between screams..Dr. Morgan quickly examined my abdomen and checked my pulse which was racing.. "Are you okay dear?" She asked me softly..I nodded "I think so.." I said, she nodded and continued checking my vitals.. "Alright, I'm going to give you some medicine to make you sleep, it will help with the pain and the swelling, ok?" I nodded again and she gave me a pill and a glass of water. I took the pill and  swallowed it, and I went into a deep sleep, when I woke up, I was in a rolling stretcher with a cast on my right arm and leg, and some bandages on my left arm where it was bleeding. CHAPTER 4: awoken by doctors
"good morning sunshine~ I hope you slept well" Dr. Morgan spoke softly with a smile, "Where am I?" "You're still in the hospital, dear, we had to run some tests and give you an X-ray" Dr. Morgan said. "W-what happened?" I asked. "You had a hairline fracture on your right arm and leg,  your abdomen had some eternal bleeding, and your arm was badly cut and bruised" Dr. Morgan replied. those bastards. they purposely hurt me because of their homophobia.  they should've died from how much shit they give me everyday, but hey, I can't complain. "How much longer till I can go home?" I asked her  "About one day sweetie..now I want you to rest, and try not to move around..you have stitches on your stomach as well, they needed to keep open the wound so it would stop bleeding". "Ok" I answered quietly..I watched as she left and sighed deeply..
I sat in silence for a while, just thinking about what happened..what happened to me? It wasn't really something I wanted to remember.. it was awful.. I had just been walking outside and these two guys jumped me...I was terrified, but, luckily the teacher and security caught them.. and then the principal found out..he made them all apologize and take me away. but..how come I got away so easily?  They weren't strong enough to get rid of me..and why did they attack me in the first place?
That night I cried myself to sleep, because my mom had told me to stay in my room until she came back from work.. I was upset my best friend Maddie would be alone for a couple days .. CHAPTER 5: back home
I came back after three days and was sad that my parents had forced me to stay at the hospital. I told her what happened, she comforted me and assured me that we won't be alone and we'd still see each other every day.
I went home the next week.. I was in a wheelchair now..my mom took pictures of me and sent them to everyone she knew..and even Jaden and Jackson..they were happy..Jaden said he was sorry for fighting me, and Jackson said that he wouldn'tve done it if I wasnt non binary..Maddie and I didn't believe them. after my girlfriend heard the news, they called me day after day asking if I was okay. I didn't blame them either, we are both really clingy.  my mom told me to let them know how I was doing, since I wouldn't answer my phone or messages..
Two weeks after I got home, my mom got me my license and I was finally able to drive a car, but not for a couple months since my arm and leg were still broken. That afternoon, I came home to find that Maddie and Sarah, my girlfriend, invited themselves over.. I didnt mind because they're basically family to me ..but, that night my mother decided that since Maddie and Sarah came over I should invite them over for dinner.  so I cooked for them while waiting for my mom and Sarah to arrive, and by the time they arrived they all smelled good..Sarah hugged me and kissed me. "Hi darling!" I gave her a kiss in return before helping her put the food on the table. The three of us talked for awhile about my trip, Sarah asked all kinds of questions like how I felt and what I did.. Maddie just listened. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything and I enjoyed it.
A few hours later my mom came home and we all ate together.                               CHAPTER 6: The surprise

After dinner, we all played games and laughed and talked..we were having fun, then Dakota (Maddies bf) came over and joined us. after a few hours, Maddie said to me and Sarah "your living with us now, and not in this shitty ass apartment". then we heard sirens "UHM- I CAN EXPLAIN-"  Maddie said. Then Maddie got arrested for kidnapping, After she got put into a cell I busted her out. after I did that, me and Sarah moved happily into Maddie and Dakota's house.
