After about 3-4 hours they finished cleaning and decorating the bottom floor! Now they needed to do the top.
"Alright, Noi! I think we've done a pretty nifty job here. It doesn't look depressing anymore, I'll leave the rest of the day for you and obviously come back tomorrow!" She waved to Noi and exited the house.
Noi stood there and looked around, it really felt different with everything. He got changed and left the house with his wallet (and phone) to go to the store, like any other responsible adult, he had to buy groceries, despite how dreadful it is to leave the house.
While Noi was out getting groceries, Pierce was in his own house, his blue horns were showing. He sat quietly as he read, but his mind kept wandering else where.
He couldn't stop thinking about Noi, he's definitely seen him before, but why couldn't Noi remember him?
