A walk around Glurfsburg <3

E.B.'s POV:

After what felt like years during the time in Lucius' cult, surely this would be a good time to have a good time around Glurfsburg without having to worry about a cult abducting us, right?

Well, Looka has been staying at my place, mostly because they're fixing some stuff in Ookia, mostly for the explosion that happened and stuff. So, Looka's dad gave him permission to stay at my place in the meantime until they fix everything

"Hey Looka," I said as I went towards him in the living room, he was reading his poem book while he was looking out the window of my living room

"Hey E.B.," He said while still keeping his eyes on the book

"Uh, you doing ok?" I said while sitting beside him on the couch

"Yea, just thinking about-"

"The cult?"

"Yea."

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said to you, that time."

"E.B., it's fine, after all. What's in the past is in the past" said Looka while he was fixing the hair that was in my eyes

"Yea," I said while slightly blushing at him

"So, what happened this entire time I was gone?" Said Looka while he'd fixed his longish fluffy hair into a ponytail

"Eh, nothing happened. Junior's now learning how to walk and that's pretty much about it, Glurfsburg's been pretty boring."

"Mhm," Looka said while he was looking out the window on this bright and sunny day

I mean this day was honestly pretty burning to say the least, so why not me and Looka go out and explore around town for a while

"Hey how about the both of us go out and explore Glurfsburg for a while?" I said while smiling and blushing at Looka

"You sure? I mean you know your parents have been a bit, overprotective after we came back from Ookia." That was the thing I was afraid of hearing from him

"Yea- but we could just go and come back, trust me I did this before my mother married my stepdad, so, should be a piece of cake, to say the least!"

"Alright fine then," Looka said while he'd gotten up from the couch and tied his shoelaces

"So where to your majesty?" I said while playfully bowing down to Looka, and with him giggling and blushing at what I did

"How about we just walk around the town and see what's in store for us? That's just what I tend to do whenever I'm walking around, you know?" Said Looka

"I mean, there's not much to explore, but we could try and see what's in store," I said while putting on my sleeveless yellow hoodie while fixing my hair a bit

"Well let's get going now," Looka said while he was opening the door of my house

Looka's POV:

As we both left E.B.'s house, we'd then both made it to the Main Street of the town, dodging a few cars that were passing by and mostly just running around the town carefree while giggling

We'd just run around the town, kinda like how my old friend group and I used to do before I met E.B. (Hint for a future story;])

We'd then stopped at an ice cream shop since it was so boiling today, so boiling to the point where almost the entire store was filled with a billion people

"So you almost had gotten killed by this guy named Philip, who was in the cult?" E.B. said while she was eating her ice cream

"Yea, well more like the both of us were on some sort of mission and he mistook me for an enemy, I mean he never had any beef with me, that I know of."

"Yea, well we should probably get back now, I'm pretty sure my parents are home by now and they're probably gonna be furious by the time we get home"

"Yea, (laughs) they're most definitely already grounding you"

"You too! Like if my parents tell your father and stuff"

"Eh, I've dealt with worse from my father, so it won't bother me too much," I said while I slightly ruffed up my hair a bit

"Hey, I know this may be personal and all but, remember the argument that we had when you were in the cult?"

"Yea.?"

"When you said that your mom died, was that all true? Is that why you never introduced me to her?"

"...it was a while ago but, I was 12 at the time, it was an illness that she had. Mom was..really sick and, she was in the hospital for"

Before I could even finish, E.B. placed her hands on my shoulders, I didn't even realize I was about to cry.

"Just take your time."

"Yea..uhm, she'd been in the hospital a lot, sometimes weeks and I wouldn't even see her, then one day she, well she died, and I and my father haven't been the same since, but I know he's trying to change! I mean, being a single parent isn't that easy, especially if you're a ruler of a country and a parent. So I don't blame my father for acting differently after her death-"

I was about to say something else, that was til E.B. brought me into a hug, in which tears were now coming down from my eyes

"Hey you're ok, look you're away from Lucius now, and you're here with us now," said E.B. in a soothing voice while she kissed my forehead

"(Sniff) yea.."
