- Gorou's POV -

"Have fun at your new school, hunny!" My mother said from the kitchen. That was the last thing my mother said before I opened the front door. I waved her a goodbye and ran outside to walk there by myself, as I was hoping to get there earlier. Off to a new campus, a new home, and a new start. How exciting.. I thought sarcastically.

My old school wasn't bad at all, it's just a few people who would "mock" me because of my appearance, being a hybrid between a dog and person. I could careless to remember any of their names, since they were the ones tormenting me for years. Though I shouldn't say "tormenting", it was more like them trying to humiliate me, which would always work. I only had a few friends, (insert random peoples names), who thankfully were the type to defend me from those kind of people. For some reason, I like to think that the bullys are good people and with a good heart and aren't who we think they are, oh but how I was always wrong.

I sighed, staring at the front of my new highschool, (blank bc I can't think of names) Highschool. What am I even doing here? I just want to go home.  I quickly shook my head and erased the thought of leaving. No turning back now, I can't let myself be a huge coward on the first day. Taking a deep breath, I walked up to the door, held the handle and pushed the door open.

Wow, this is new. Everything was so different from my old school.  It actually looked like a peaceful place, free from bullying, and free from humiliation. Maybe I can make new friends too. I don't think I got my old friends phone numbers though. Probably because at the time I didn't have a phone. The option I had was to use my house phone or my moms. "Oh, hello!" Someone rushed over to me in a panic. "You must be the new student, Gorou, correct?" They spoke in a polite manner.  "Mhm, that's me." I nodded. "Well nice to meet you, Gorou, you may call me Ms. Ningguang." She reached out her hand for mine, as I shook it, she told me that she was the principal of this school and that I had a tutor to show me around.

"Good luck!" Ms. Ningguang said as she pushed me out of her office. Before I could protest, she slammed the door right in my face. What an amazing principal I have to deal with now. I totally thought happily. For a few seconds, it was just pure silence. "So, what's your name?" I glanced to my left, it was a very tall man who looked very threatening and scary. He had white, long, spiked hair with pale red streaks that goes down to his back, two red horns on his forehead, and with red make-up on his face.

"Gorou, you?" I said, staring up at the taller man with a rather. He smiled, "I am Arataki Itto, you may call me Itto though." His voice wasn't deep nor raspy, it sounded like he was a kind and fun person on the inside. "Alright, Itto, time to show me around." I happily smiled back.

After the tour of Gorou's new highschool.

"And that's that! Welcome to (blank) Highschool, my friend!" Itto said in his normally playful tone. I panted badly, I felt like I just ran a whole marathon. "You okay?" He glanced down at me. I was hunched over, knees, and hands trembling. I could barely stand up properly. I looked over to him, "Ah sorry! I must've been too hard on you, if I get to do this next time I'll take it slower, promise!" He patted my back aggressively. But before he could hit another time, I swiftly moved out of the way and quickly ran off to my class.

"Hey wait up, Gorou!" Itto tried to keep up with me. I completely ignored him, and continued to run past classrooms while checking which one I had first. English? No, History I think, unless I took the wrong paper, this should be my first class. I sighed and reached the classroom, the door was completely shut. I knocked politely and had to wait a few minutes until a tall figure walked up to the door and opened it.

"Ah, welcome, please come inside." The teacher moved out of the way, so I walked in. I glanced over to the seats and noticed that there were only a few people missing. "You may take a seat wherever you may like." I looked back to the teacher, only to find that he had already started talking to someone else. I quickly rushed over to find an open seat. Found one. There was an empty seat next to someone who seemed approachable and friendly.

"Hello." I whispered to the person next to me as soon as I took sat down. "Hi, I'm Aether, how about you?" Aether whispered back, he was wearing his long golden hair in a braid tied with a white looking bow. "Gorou, nice to meet you." I replied.
