" Don't touch my tail! " - An AU Itto x Gorou Story

(Chp.2)

- Gorou's POV (Lmao again) -

After I finished having a small chat with my new friend Aether,  he introduced me to some of his own friends. Lumine, which is his twin sister, she looks almost exactly like Aether but with a lighter hair colour and shorter hair in the back and long bangs. Xiao, who we think is secretly his boyfriend, has a darker turquoise fading to lighter with spikey hair in the back and medium length, messy bangs. As I become more and more closer to them, I realize that they flirt a lot. Both of them are very short by the way. Kazuha, has white hair with some red streaks on his bangs, his hair is a little long so he keeps it in a short ponytail. I never really realized how many friends Aether has until now. There's Amber, Eula, Keqing, Ganyu, Chongyun, Hu Tao (I think), and a lot.. It's like he's friends with everyone in this school, which I actually think is true. 

The bell rang, meaning it was lunch. "Is there a cafeteria?" I asked Aether. "Itto didn't show me everywhere." I mumbled. "Oh, you've met Itto already? I was going to introduce him to you when we got to the cafeteria and meet everyone there." Aether acted sad and slumped over and his hands gripped on my shirt. "Uhm, you can introduce me to the rest of your friends too y'know.." I replied, pushing Aether off of me. "Oh right! Here come with me!" He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the cafeteria, where he said most of his friends would be. 

Great, now I have to meet half of the entire school, totally not nervous right now. We passed by every single classroom there was, pushed everyone out of the way, and reached the front of the cafeteria under 2 minutes. "Aether! Wait up!" Lumine shouted from behind us, someone was with her too. "And that's the reason why Aether always comes in 3rd place for track and' field." The new person shrugged. "It's not my fault I run so fast, Mr. Tighnari." Aether said proudly with his hands on his hips. "Oh yeah! Gorou, this is Mr. Tighnari, the school nurse. Mr. Tighnari, this is Gorou, one of our new students this year." Aether said, patting me on my back. "You're friends with a teacher?" I said, feeling a little bit awkward around him. "Is that how you speak in front of a teacher? And also, I'm one of the youngest teachers here, being 24." 

"Wait, you're 24?!" Lumine said in surprise. "I thought you were 20!" Tighnari's shoulders slumped as I heard footsteps coming from behind him. "Please, Cyno, don't say a joke, I'm trying to talk to people without getting embarrassed by you." Tighnari turned around to face Cyno with a "I swear to the love of god, shut the fvck up" look. "What did I do? My jokes aren't that bad!" Cyno exclaimed.

"There is a reason why Miss. Ningguang created a "Who can tell the worst joke ever" competition, and you always win." Tighnari said. "Tighnari and Cyno, please stop with your nonsensical bickering." Someone new came into the room. "Oh please, you are just the same with Diluc, you have no reason to talk." Tighnari replied angerly then went back to complaining about Cyno and his bad jokes. "Hello, I'm Mr. Kaeya." Kaeya completely ignored what Tighnari said and he reached our his hand, and I shook it. "Gorou, new student." I said with a small smile. "New student, eh? Well, nice to meet you, I'm the drama teacher around here." Drama teacher? They have teachers for that kind of stuff? "I have a question Aether," I whispered. Aether shifted closer to me. "Do you eat with your teachers?" I asked quietly. "Not all the time, this school is very friendly, but yeah, I do." Aether snorted lightly. 

"Wow, your school is so much different from my old one." I mumbled. "Yeah, this school is not like the others." Aether said. "Okay, well I'm gonna go get my food now." Aether got up from his seat and walked away. Leaving me all alone. With random people who I just met today. 

Kaeya took out a book from his bag and started reading. Tighnari and Cyno just sat together in silence. Lumine was talking to Amber, Eula, and someone new with green hair. And then there was just me, sitting there, eating my lunch quietly. "Hey, it's you again!" A familiar voice came from behind me, it was Itto! "Oh hi, Itto." I waved.

Itto rushed over and sat down right beside me, his shoulders were touching mine. Thanks for the personal space. I thought. His arm wrapped around me and tugged me tight. My face turned a bit red. I started to zone out, staring at Itto as he talked cheerfully to everyone around him. How is he so happy all the time? I wish I could be like that. I sighed. "Might as well enjoy some moments of the first day." I mumbled.
