"Yaaayy!" Squealed Janny in excitement as more girls settled into their chosen seats in the empty airplane. Sindy was enjoying the vibe around her, light and energizing as everyone was in it for all the fun they were going to have. She stretched her limbs and then shivered with exhilaration. "Finally! A girls' trip for once!" Exclaimed Ravia, Sindy's older cousin. "To Switzerland, we go!" Chimed Aria with them. She was the only one not related to the whole group by blood, she was Sindy's best friend. All of the other girls in the group were either Sindy's cousins or family.

"Off-season, but that's the fun of it!" Joined Abby as she unpacked her backpack and took out headphones, gloves, and comfy socks to nestle in. "Cheaper and we've got all the plane to ourselves!" Ebby almost shrieked in enthusiasm as she ran up and down an aisle with her hands in the air. "Bro! Chill out and take a seat!" Ronny called in an attempt to calm Ebby's hyperactivity down while she couldn't hide her own elation and eagerness. "She won't!" Andy cried while laughing out loud at the scene, her baby girl Sara strapped to her looking at her mother in surprise and amusement, to which Sindy shook her head and chuckled as she enjoyed the humor of the moment.

"Okay, girls!" Ravia clapped to get everyone's attention in the group. All the girls looked at her and she began, "I know it's an empty plane so it doesn't matter, but can we just for an hour or so please stick to our deal?" She requested, "We decided no changing seats right?" All the girls responded with nods and glittering eyes. They weren't going to mind anything at this point. "I know we came up with that idea for fun to see who ends up where and how funny it would be for them to stick it out, but I want to stick to the plan and still enjoy it." She pleaded earnestly. Everyone agreed and looked at their boarding passes, then dispersed into the plane looking for their exact seats.

There was one other passenger sitting in the whole business class section aside from this group of enthusiastic, jittery, and bubbly girls. He had his nose stuck in a magazine. Some girls settled into various seats spread across different aisles and rows. Some huddled up as they found their seats together. Sindy stared at her seat number, "E-19", and made her way toward the middle aisle. She moved towards row nineteen while scanning the numbers above the seats. The closer she got, the surer she became that she was going to have to sit near the one stranger on the whole wide plane. This was getting awkward as she stopped by his seat, "F-19". A wave of anxiety and excitement hit her abdomen. She laughed it off and then looked at him. His thick black square-framed glasses were all she could see by the little parts of his head and temples that were visible.

She cleared her throat nervously while Ravia, Aria, and Janny smirked at her mischievously and then looked at each other, poking fun at her by raising eyebrows in unison, embarrassing Sindy even more than she already was. "Erm," Sindy spoke to draw his attention. Looking up from his magazine with questioning eyes, he saw Sindy standing by looking down at him and she froze. Her eyes widened. Anxiety rose up to her cheeks and made them blush scarlet. It was Allen. And judging by how he was hiding his face or probably engrossed in that magazine, Sindy concluded that he wanted to be left alone or not disturbed at all. "I'm sorry to intrude," Sindy began with profuse apologies, "I know this whole plane is empty and I can sit wherever I want and it would be really weird if I chose to sit right next to you despite all this space but that's my seat beside you and we've decided among the group-" "Yeah I heard," Allen cut her short and stopped her from blabbering.

There was something reassuring about his tone as if he understood everything at a deeper level than just the surface. She exhaled in relief although her jitters weren't all gone and then sat down in her seat, placing a giant, black, leathery tote bag between her feet on the floor. He looked at it for a brief moment then gazed ahead and breathed deeply. Something told Sindy he was nervous too. But about what? Was there a show or an interview waiting ahead for him? She didn't feel it appropriate to ask just yet. She breathed in and out, trying to ground herself by focusing on driving her remaining anxiety away at that moment. He breathed too and soon enough, their breathing was synchronized as they inhaled deep breaths and exhaled heavily trying to lift their spirits and lighten up the mood. Sure enough, they noticed they were in synch as if mimicking and mirroring each other and laughed at the irony of the moment. And that laughter was enough to break the ice.
