Sierra first met Akihiko when she visited the Festival of light, around the same time her twin first met her husband. She adored this festival, even enjoyed wearing the kimonos. She hoped to one day move here. When she watched the fireworks in the sky, she noticed Akihiko staring blankly at the lanterns of those whose passed on. Everyone else, even the vendors were enjoying the lights, yet he was the only one in the darkness. She gathered some courage and approached him.

"Excuse me, you'll miss the fireworks if you keep staring-" She blinked when an Owl suddenly appeared on his shoulder. "Oh! Are you a spellcaster?"

"Hm?" Akihiko glanced at her, raising a brow. His Sixam owl, Wise, hooted in his ear. "Yes, I am."

Sierra smiled brightly. "That's really cool! Are you from around here? Have you been here your whole life? What's your favorite Festival here? Do you prefer the Takiyakis or the ramen stalls? What's your favorite thing to do during this festival?"

Akihiko was taken aback from her barrage of questions, and Wise couldn't help commenting on it. "She is special. Why not get to know her master?"

Akihiko cleared his throat when Sierra stepped too close to him. "Please, relax. I'll answer your questions-"

"Are you from a long line of spellcasters? Like an ancient bloodline?" She asked suddenly.

Akihiko's mind went blank, and he froze in his spot. Indeed, he did come from a long line of powerful spellcasters, but he was the only one left from his family. There was a battle between families, and after both suffered many casualties, they finally decided for peace. It's been some time since then, and Akihiko came to this festival often to remember those he's lost. His sorrowful thoughts caused his familiar to hoot and cuddle against him in comfort.

"Are you alright?" Sierra asked softly. She had a worried look on her face.

Akihiko let out a long sigh, petting his familiar to not worry them. "I'm fine. I like this festival better to honor my ancestors. I do live around here, and yes, I do come from an ancient line of spellcasters."

Sierra nodded, giving him a gentle smile. "Thank you. By the way, your familiar is really cute. What is their name?"

"Her name is Wise." Akihiko smiled at Wise, who hooted and flew onto Sierra's shoulder. Sierra giggled when she tickled her cheek with her feathers. Akihiko stared at the two. Wise was known to have the ability to see the future. If she didn't see a future with him and Sierra, she wouldn't have flown to her shoulder. Akihiko held out his hand, surprising Sierra. "Would you like to enjoy the festivities with me?"

"I'd love to!" Sierra blushed at his proper manners, then took his hand.

Since their encounter, they've grown closer and eventually confessed their feelings. Akihiko wanted to properly court Sierra, and even brought up to her about taking her parents out for lunch one day to officially meet them. When she agreed, they all went to a fancy, Italian restaurant.

Sora shook hands with Akihiko when they've arrived at the table, and Sierra hugged her mother. "Thank you for inviting us. It's been a little while since we came to an Italian restaurant. And of course, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Akihiko." Amy smiled towards him when they sat down.

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well." Akihiko bowed. "I wanted to meet and ask to court your wonderful daughter, for she has captured my heart." He glanced at Sierra, who couldn't help blushing in her seat.

Sora chuckled at his daughter. "I can see that. My daughter has had her head in the clouds these past days."

"D-dad!" Sierra gasped before burying her face in the menu. "Don't embarrass me..."
