ricky sat on the living room floor looking at the food infront of him with disgust he lets out a shaky sigh as he pulls his knees up to his chest
his boyfriend chris sits down on the floor next to him gently putting his hand on rickys thigh "baby you need to eat" he says worry in his voice

ricky shakes his head
"i-i cant.."

"you can sweetheart i know you can, whats stopping you ricky? talk to me sweetheart" chris' voice was soft and comforting

rickys eyes were flooded with tears "i-i dont deserve to eat..i-im already fat enough.." tears were streaming down his pale face

"ricky sweetheart no" chris puts his arm around his upset boyfriend and pulls him closer "you aren't fat ricky you're far from it, you need to eat my love even if it's just a little bit"

the smaller boy puts his head in his arms as his crying turns into sobs "i-i cant..i c-cant do it.." he franticaly shakes his head

ricky had gone through this before when he was a teenager it took a little while but he had managed to regulate his eating again, he's 21 now and he was back in the mindset he was in years ago
he doesnt know what had triggered it again it just happened
chris had noticed pretty quickly that ricky had just stopped eating completely whenever he'd ask him what he wanted for dinner ricky would always say "im not hungry"
he hadnt seen ricky eat anything in about 3 days now

"ricky look at me"

rick sniffles and wipes his eyes with his sleeve before looking at chris, he puts his hands on either side of his little boyfriends face
"you gotta eat baby" he says sadly "you deserve to eat love, just a little bit ricky can you do that for me?"

ricky sighs giving in to chris and nods pulling the plate of food closer to him,
he takes a deep breath to try and calm himself down
"fuck.." he mumbles
"you can do it sweetheart you're doing so good" chris moves his hand up and down rickys back to comfort him

he timidly picks up one of the smaller slices of pizza his hands shaking a little,
he slowly starts eating one small bite at a time
his eyes start to flood with tears again, chris notices and softly kisses rickys head "your doing so well ricky im so proud of you"

he manages to eat half of it before putting it back on the plate and shaking his head
"i-i cant eat anymore.." he whimpers
chris lets out a little sigh "okay sweetheart..you did really well though hunny im proud of you for trying" he says pulling ricky into a hug
the smaller boy wraps his arms tightly around his boyfriend trying to get as close to him as possible
"i-im sorry.."
"why are you sorry darling? you have nothing to be sorry about my love" chris says gently stroking rickys hair

he feels rick lean into his hand, chris always knew how to calm ricky down
"y-your not gonna l-leave if i cant g-get better are you?.." ricky says quietly
"ricky baby you will get better okay? im never ever gonna leave you my love we're gonna get through this together"
ricky stays silent before moving himself so he's straddling chris, he tightly wraps his arms around him again and cuddles him as close as he can
"i-i love you..i love you so much chris.."
"i love you too ricky so so so much"

the two sat in comfortable silence just cuddling, chris occasionaly kissing rickys head

"hey ricky?" chris says breaking the silence
"yeah?.."
"i think you're really pretty yknow i think everything about you is perfect i wish you could see yourself the way i see you darling"
ricky doesnt speak for a few seconds
"you're gonna make me cry again you big idiot.." he sniffles but chris can see that he's smiling
"im just saying baby i think you really are perfect" he moves his hands onto rickys hips "my pretty boy"
"i love you so much" ricky says genuinely smiling
"theres that pretty smile! i love you too baby" he puts his hands on either side of rickys face before kissing him
