Chapter 1
The Winchester Mystery House is 139 years old. Many people say that it's an odd house because of how it's built, but it really isn't. There is a story behind the house that will make people believe in spirits.
It all starts with Sarah Winchester and her husband William Winchester when Sarah and William's daughter Annie Winchester died on July 25, 1866. This was six weeks after Annie's birth but mainly this really affected Sarah and William. Many years later William died in 1881. Now Sarah was the only one left in the Winchester family. The rumor is that the Winchester family died because of the Winchester rifle.
