In the morning the party awoke to the unpleasant sound of a tree crashing into a lake. So they put all the used and unused fire wood in the lake so no one would see they were there.
As they walked down the river bank they noticed that the tree stumps were not from fallen trees, they had been cut. Axes lay on the ground and tree stumps had blood smeared on them.
"Who did this?" Asked Faith.
"Orks no doubt." Answered Kili.
"Disgusting creatures." Thorin said and spat on a foot print.
"We can't be here long they may return." said Kili
So they moved on hearing more foot prints than they should.
"ORKS!" Yelled Kili and they all broke into a sprint. Faith and Bilbo struggled to keep up with the others, when Faith saw Bilbo trip over a root, she immediately stopped and yield to Gandalf but he didn't hear. She ran to Bilbo who's foot was stuck.
"Go quickly I'm fine." Bilbo urged.
"No come on." Faith said as she freed him.
"My ankle is broken." said Bilbo.
"Don't waste time." Faith said as she put Bilbo's arm around her and ran.
The party was out of sight and the orks were right behind them, Faith ran as fast as she could and Bilbo helped as best he could. Hobbits are not very fast compared to orks so Faith took a sharp turn and lifted Bilbo into a tree. He climbed as high as he could and was out of sight from the orks. Faith had no time to get in a tree so she ran as fast as possible. Faith was four steps away from the orks who were swing axes and swords.
Suddenly Kili and Kiely came charging in with their sword out.
"Catch!" Kili said as he threw Faith a sword. Together they killed as many orks as they could the rest ran in fear.
"Where is Bilbo?" Asked Kiely.
Faith led the others to the tree she left Bilbo in and he climbed down safely.
"Where is the rest of the party?" Asked Faith.
"Over in that bush." said Kiely.
"Are you guys OK?" Asked Thorin once they reached the bush.
"Yes thanks to Kili and Kiely." said Faith.
