CHAPTER 3: THE APPERANCE OF LORD VARAHA

In the previous chapter we read about the curse of Jaya and Vijaya and the story of Hiranyakashyapu, Now let's go through the story of Hiranyakashya

Hiranyakashya was one of the very first and strongest demon to walk on the Earth, he was so tall and big that he even covered the view of mountains! His large feet shook the whole Earth everytime he took a step, he was so strong that the whole universe was scared of him. Hiranyakashya was the elder brother of Demon king Hiranyakashyapu who was killed by Lord Narasimha dev , Just like his younger brother , Hiranyakashya was very evil, he was very confident about his powers and he too got a boon from Bramha dev to be neither killed by any human neither any animal . Hiranyakashya started torchering the whole universe even the heaven , he swiped away all the celestial beings from the heaven and started ruling , he even torchered the sages and humans on the Earth. One day Hiranyakashya took Bhudevi (Mother Earth) on his hands and threw her under the water, Drowned in the darkness Bhudevi started crying for help . Hearing the painful cries of Bhudevi , Lord Vishnu immediately took the form of Lord Varaha , Lord Varaha's incarnation appeared from the nasal of Lord Vishnu

After taking the form of Lord Varaha ,Lord Vishnu immediately dived in the water and picked up Bhudevi inbetween his divine tusks

However the Evil Hiranyakashya dived in as well and he ordered Lord Varaha to handover Bhudevi to him

Lord Varaha simply ignored the words of Hiranyakashya and started heading out from the water with Bhudevi

Raged on Lord Varaha , Hiranyakashya attacked him

Lord Varaha attacked Hiranyakashya as well and their battle went on for a thousand of year!

Finally Lord Varaha killed the evil Hiranyakashya and gave him liberation from his one birth and
He dived out of the water like a strong dazzling mountain
Carrying Bhudevi on his tusks

All the universe started dancing with joy , singing the holy praises of Lord Varaha as they Gazed at the mesmerizing view of Lord Varaha standing with Bhudevi.
