katsuki laughs at her as he lifts her up and spins her around, life has never felt so good.
his number one supporter, his beautiful girlfriend, his y/n, is in his arms cheering for him. happy for him, giving him all this love that he couldn't be more than willing to receive.
one minute, he was on his bed, cuddling with y/n and of course he was having the best time of his life. then the next minute he gets a phone call from his manager, kirito who says he has amazing news.
he told him that the groups debut song 'Drunk-DaZed' went big. it gained almost 4 million listeners within the first few hours of being released.
while yes, he knew it was truly an anticipated release and he didn't think THAT many people wanted to hear his groups song.
he felt proud of himself, proud of A-BlaZe, grateful and extremely proud of his friends and his girlfriend.
they all stuck by his side and seemingly all got through the pressure of releasing the song together.
his hearts pounding from excitement but also nervous. he didn't think this far ahead.
I mean sure, he wanted to get known and be able to make music with his friends but as sad as it might sound, he had his doubts.
and by no means does he mean in his band mates, his best friends are amazing talented people. he never for a minute doubted them and their skills.
he doubted himself. yeah, he may seem fully confident in himself but deep down in him he also has his own fears and sets of insecurities that he hates to admit.
it took him a while before he let himself become his true raw self to y/n, after a couple of yelling matches because as y/n likes to say he's as stubborn as 'obsidian'.
he was just afraid of relying so much on someone and then them leaving. he doesn't want to feel weak.
he won't ever let himself feel weak.
after holding up the facade for so long, he let go and he's never been so relieved to. to finally be able to let himself feel all these emotions and to know he has someone there for him.
