The young girl sat in the cove, which Brair found a few days after they got there, it's where she usually goes to think about anything and everything. She listens to the small waves crash into each other lightly. Briar's legs are against her chest, as her chin is resting against her knees. While she was thinking, her mind drifted into thinking of someone. A boy. That was Ao'nung, feeling her face heat up thinking about him, she covers her face with her hands.

After a minute or so, Briar's hands are off her face, but still thinking about him. I really need to stop thinking about him, she thought to herself. Briar sighed, then seeing movement coming towards her, Briar's guard is now up, getting ready to attack if she needs to. Once Briar saw who it was, she calmed down a bit, seeing that it was her mother, she gave her daughter a small smile.

"I've been looking for you," her mother tells her. As she sat next to Briar. "I was just thinking about stuff," Briar told her, looking at the water in front of them, digging her toes into the sand. "Is it about a boy?" Nyx asked her, feeling heat to her face again and her hands to her face. "Mum you can't straight up say that," Briar said embarrassed, hearing a chuckle next to her.

"Taking that as a yes," she spoke softly, Briar nodding her head. Telling her mother that she have a crush on Ao'nung is embarrassing. "Who is this boy you like?" She asks her, Briar takes her hands off of her face and looked at her mother. Then back at the water. "Ao'nung." Briar whispers, but her mother heard her, knowing her mother, she has a smile on her face.

Briar felt her mother's arm wrap around her shoulders. "How do you feel about him?" She asked her daughter. Briar look down to her feet. "As much he doesn't show it to others. He's so caring, loving."

"He makes me feel things that I haven't felt before." Briar told her. Resting the side of her face on her knees as she looks at her mother, seeing that she has a small smile on her face. "Your father was kind of like that. When me and Jake got dragged into the Omaticaya hometree. Heck even years before that, especially after a close friend died, but that's another time to tell."

"It was the first time in two or three years since I last been there. With you father. It was kind of like gaining his trust in a way. I felt the same way that you are feeling for Ao'nung." Nyx tells her, as she was listening. "But what if he doesn't like me back," Briar asked her mother, a bit worried that he won't like her back.

"If he doesn't like you back. Then he's missing out, on how beautiful, kind, strong, loving person that you are," she chuckled, as Briar giggle. "I guess," she whispered. "If you really like him. Tell him. It's better to know. Than to not know that he feels about you," she said, Briar nodded her head looking back at the clear water, sighing a bit.

"I guess your right," she agreed with her. "Now come on dinner is ready. We don't want the others to eat all the food before we have some." she smiles, Briar giggles again, the both of them got onto their feet and went back to their Marui.

As the kids are asleep, Nyx and Tsu'tey are sitting on the sand, looking out to the sky. "So, I was talking to Briar, right." Nyx spoke up. "What did she say?" he asked me, rubbing the tip of his fingers against her upper arm. "She has a crush for Ao'nung. She scared that he won't feel the same way she feels for him," she answered to him.

He stopped rubbing fingers on her arm, I could feel him looking at me. "You can stop looking at me like that." I told him. "She's not going to have a boyfriend at thirteen, Nyx." he tells his wife, continuing stroking his fingers against her skin, Nyx sighed. "Oh come on Tsu'tey I was twelve when I loved you, and realised I loved you in a deep level when I was eighteen. She cannot just stop loving someone," the female tells him.

"I know but, she's to young to love yet." He tried to reason with her, she turns to him. "So your saying I was too young to love you." Nyx looks up at him, as he sighs.

"I get that you trying to keep your little girl safe. But she's growing up, whether we like it or not. Let her love my darling. That goes with the boys and Sarah, I know that they are still young," she smiles softly.

He sighed, looking out to the water, then back to his lover, giving her a weak smile. "OK, peach I'll let her be, but if he breaks her heart. I'll be the one to break his neck." He warned her, Nyx shakes her head laughing. "If you say so, my love," placing a kiss on his cheek.

Getting up from his lap, she holds her hand out for him. "Come on let's get some sleep before the sun comes up," she tells him, he places his bigger hand in hers. Helping him up to his feet, holding his body close to Nyx's, Tsu'tey looking down to her eyes. Seeing the love in his eyes as he looks at her, with that smile his face lips. "I love you," tells her. "I love you too," she smiles, letting their lips touch. Nyx's arms wrapping around his shoulders, his arms around her waist.

Cassius, Briar, Sarah and Nathan stand in the distance as they watch their parents lay on the sand. Laughing, joking and talking with each other, seeing that they were happy laying with each other. "I want to have a relationship just like mum and dad," Cassius tells them, making sure that their parents doesn't hear them.

"Don't we all, the both of them are inseparable, where ever mum goes. Dad goes with her," hearing Nathan spoke up. "She got dad whipped," he continued, chuckling, they laughed a little bit. "You can say that," Briar said, Cassius looks over to Briar, seeing her dimple smile. "So, are you going to tell him that you like him?" Cassius asked his little sister a smirk plays on his lips, she looks over to him confused.

"Tell who?" She asked, Cassius shakes his head, walking back home, not wanting to be caught by their parents, the others following behind him. "I mean ask Ao'nung about your feelings." Cassius told her.

"How do you know about that," she asked me, seeing surprised at what her big brother said. "Come on, Briar it's obvious that you like him," Cassius turned to her. "You like Ao'nung, besides if he hurts you I'll rip every limbs off of his body," hearing the stern voice.

"Yeah. You sound like dad, besides can we not talk about it right now. By the looks of it Sarah can't even keep herself up on how tired she is." Briar said walking over to her baby sister. Wrapping her arm around her waist, helping her to bed, Cassius shakes her head. Heading to bed following the girls and Nathan behind him.
