Unexpected Huh? Sure. - Chapter 4

I lay on my bed exhausted from the day and tried to get sleep since It seemed like I would have a very long day tomorrow. When I woke up I felt someone staring at me, so before I open my eyes I prepared myself with a little gun I have prepared and pointed. 

There, on the end of my bed, where I'm pointing my gun was my 'friend'. He looked surprised and shocked as if he hasn't faced a gun pointed at his face multiple times, he wore his brown hair and had his hand on his chest as if he was having a heart attack.

"Geez, is this how you British people greet your guest??? I thought it was us Russian..." I lowered the gun and he let out a sigh. "Anyways! Good morning! I have to say I thought you'd live somewhere more... nice..." I gave him a side-eye.

"Sorry about the gun but- never mind," I stood and stretched, and how did he find where I lived? and how did get in? Those questions have to be answered later times. "Wait-" He answered with a hum eyeing the furniture in the room. "How did you know where I live?" I have to know or else I might be in danger, if he does know that I'm Deal Maker then I might have to kill him. 

"Oooh yeah, I was walking around the neighborhood and saw that got into this room last night!" I can tell he wasn't lying. "Please don't Dos-kun~ If he finds out that I'm here with you in such a close, space..." He got closer and I backed away, he clearly was trying to 'flirt' with me. "Then he might kill for trying to steal his new potential partner~" He walked away and sat on the little sofa and grinned at me.

"Three things... Weird and you still haven't answered how you got in and two... who's Dos-kun?" Of course, I know who it was but he was never called that in our last meeting so I'm just acting dumb. 

"Oh come on really?" He judges me with his eye. "Who's someone we both know... now, put those two together and you get..." I pretended to think and then figured it out.

"Fyodor... kay-" I sigh in defeat. "But still how did you get in here???" It was my turn to eye him.

"Hmm...~ I don't know if I should tell you~" I begged and he finally put on a serious face. "Okay fine, what if I tell you I can do... Magic..." He used his elbow to cover half of his face.

"Like an ability? I mean I guess..." I know that a lot of people have the ability and lately ever since the ADA has been booming with their business it's become more world wild known. 

"Hehehe, CoooooooRECT! My ability is to be able to use my cape here... to teleport!" So it's his cape that's doing most of his magic? Good for information. "Now go around telling people how my ability works alright?" I rolled my eyes.

"Uhhh... sure but please just wait until I woke up next time? and don't use your ability to get into my living room again." I said while looking thru my normal clothing to wear. 

"Hehe, no promises~" I got my out and looked at him. "What about you? Do you have any ability?" I thought for a moment and then sneakily walked to him, while he cowers I attacked his sides making him laugh maniacally. "Enough, enough! Alright, I'll stop staring..." He turned to face the wall and I went to the bathroom to clean and change. 

When I got out he has his feet on the backrest and his head dangling on the edge of the chair, he turned his head and take one good look at me and my clothing then sat right up and walked to me. He lifted my hands and adjust a few parts of my clothing and then stepped back to look at what the hell has done to my clothing.

"Nope, this won't do! We shall go shopping now and don't you worry I'm not using my money~" He took my hand and pulled me thru the portal he just made seconds ago, I would've argued but he already pulled me thru.

"Wait, then who's mon-" He cut me off.

"Dos-kun~!" He said cheerfully. "We should go there first!" The next two hours of my morning were just trying on clothing until my belly decided to betray me and expose how hungry I was. "Aww seems like someone is hungry~ Dos's treat!" He announced the moment we were out of the line.

"Oh no you aren't, you have spent enough on my card as it is..." Fyodor said to Nikolai or Mallory before he looked at me, he looked awe-struck and was frozen for a good four seconds. "Wow, you look... amazing today..." His face was lightly pink at its cheek and I felt a little warm myself.

"Umm, thanks, Fyodor. Mallory helped-" I was once again cut off.

"Can you two get a room if you want to do That I'm really hungry" Fyodor sighed and went behind Nikolai grabbing his shoulder probably tightly. 

"Sure Mallory~ but stop thinking every person I meet is a potential or I'm never letting you close to my card again~" Nikolai let out a tiny squeak.

"Meany" He whispered and then stand proud again. "We should go to that restaurant there! I'll pay..., I guess..." Nikolai sighed and guided us to a restaurant.

As Nikolai walked and talked Fyodor nudge my hand a little, when I looked Fyodor got closer to my ear. He whispered, "Don't worry I have a plan that'll make him go away so we can spend it together" He winked and smiled I replied with a little chuckle. We both stopped our little laughs when we heard two heels hit each other.

"You two are planning something aren't you? Well, go ahead and try~! It's hard to get me into a trap you know~" He said confidentially, Fyodor rolled his eyes.

"Oh really? Is that so?" He winked at me once more and then we arrived.

We ordered our food and continued talking about books and even Nikolai join in the conversation, all of our food came. Nikolai ordered sushi, Fyodor ordered some steak and I ordered some steak also. We all ate when suddenly Fyodor looked at his friend and said.

"Hey, Nikolai... I'll pay for lunch and every meal we have for today if you can eat that sushi and finish the whole sauce and wasabi without any water or drinking to help" Fyodor placed his chin on his hands and smirked.

"Oooo Okay! I have done that before though I... Whatever if it means I don't have to pay~" He started to eat and after he ate everything quickly he sat back. "Fyuuh... I'm full... Wait-" Within seconds he got up and ran to the bathroom leaving me and Fyodor chuckling.

"And there he goes~" He smirked and gestured for us to go somewhere. "He won't disturb us for awhile" He paid the bills and we went off. "Now, where to first, My Myjesty~" He offered his hands as if he was a prince and I took it.

"Hmm... I would like to go to..." I didn't think I was the one to pick where to go and just choose the safest option as we both mostly talk about it. "The book store... If I'm not wrong... a new volume of our favorite series should just come there." He hugged my hand a little tighter and we went off to the store, when we got there I saw that someone was already waiting for us.

In one of the aisles where the comic is, there is Nikolai in yet another disguise, I wanted to sigh from how obvious his disguises are but couldn't. As I expected the whole Sushi scheme was planned and well it was to fool a normal citizen but I'm not, we went to the novel aisle and saw our book. I couldn't help but feel happy and skipped toward it like a happy teen seeing their favorite band release a new song.

When I got there I took two of the same book and hand one over to Fyodor, I smiled at him and he smiled softly at me two. The more time I spent time with him and see him smile my heart gives a little something. I'm not sure what it is but it doesn't feel bad it does feel wrong since I'm doing this for my job which is to find a way to kill him or take him down.

We went to the other aisle and looked for other books we can both talk about later times, I found myself a book I might like and he found him, I was leaning against one of the shelves, and Fyodor was opposite of mine. As I read the back description I couldn't help but feel like he was watching me, I took a peek and saw that he was looking at me barely being closed by the books.

"Are you even reading?" I asked putting the book in my hand down.

"I couldn't take my eyes off you silly, especially when you're looking at your favorite things..." He stepped closer to me and I just went back to reading the book.

"Uhu... well, we need to find something before we leave we can't just use the whole day in the book store" I still felt as if he was walking toward me.

Suddenly the light that was shining on my book was covered, I tried to ignore it but something, a bunch of pages, a book dragged it down as if something or someone wanted my attention. 

"Eyes on me dear~" Fyodor said lifting my chin with the book. 

When I looked into his eyes I saw many things, lust, desire, and desperation. This was the first time I could see what was beyond those eyes that seemed only soulless this whole time, for once, I understand what's behind a human's eyes. His eyes weren't just not soulless now but also beautiful, it was a dark purple hue, and under the light, they shined as an amethyst.

I lifted one of my hands and held his cheek, he was gonna get closer when we heard Dazai's voice or more specifically Fyodor's ringtone. He sighed and got away from my face, he excused himself and went away. I watched as he walks away with the phone in his ear. I hear my heart raising and felt like melting, what was happening? Why do I feel like this? I quickly calm myself down and then Fyodor came back to me.

"Sorry about that, it was a wrong dial. Shall we continue?~" He gestured to the cashier and I walked there, as we made our way I saw a note slipped into my bag probably from the boss.

"Say... is your ringtone... Dazai Osamu..." I have to ask since the last time I check they were enemies and well... Dazai Osamu is a pretty popular person.

"Yes... it is. His actually a friend of mine and he made it for me so I pick the phone up more quickly as a request from Mallory" He sighed and we made it to the cashier.

We put the books down and as I was searching for my wallet Fyodor paid for everything, I was going to protest but he just shushed me. He took the bag and thanked the lady, we got out and were walking aimlessly before he asked.

"You have no idea where to go next do you?" He said out of the blue and I snickered, agreeing. "*sigh* You really don't go out much huh? Oh well, I know a place" He took my hand and guided me out of the mall. 

Turns out the reason inside the mall was so quiet and quite empty was because there was a show going on out front, a bunch of people just having fun dancing and singing, kids running and yelling, the stages speaker booming the music so loud you could feel it shaking your heart.

I'm Almost late for this book upload lol, Hope you all liked the chapter and I promise next chapter there will be more scene of just you and him~ I honestly like how this is going, two characters who doesn't know how to read their own feelings as they never experience such feelings falling for each other without fully knowing it <3
