Chapter 50: The Final Rounds Begin!

Third person's P.O.V

It had been more than a few hours since Kei left the hospital after visiting Naruto. She spent most of her time just walking around thinking about tomorrow's matches.

Now Kei was sitting up on the roof of a building with her knees up and right hand resting against her face. At the same time, she was listening to the sound of people laughing and celebrating for the final matches tomorrow. She was impressed with the number of people who have come just to see the matches tomorrow but not surprised to hear that many of them wanted to see Sasuke match with him being the last Uchiha.

Through her mind was mainly focused on one thing. She couldn't get the thought of Gaara's behavior out of her head.

'He changed so much since I last saw him in the Hidden Sand.' Kei thought as she looked at the moon and breathed the fresh evening air.

After a few minutes of gazing at the sky, she decided to head home for the night. After all, she needed to be rested and ready to go for her match tomorrow.

Kei had woken up to an alarm beeping as it with off, signaling that it was finally time for her to get on up for the exams.

"Alright, time to get in. Ready to go," She said, getting out of bed and heading toward the bathroom to shower and get dressed for the day.

She walked outside the house fifteen minutes later, wearing a dark purple and light purple kimono shirt with long sleeves covering her hands slightly with a dark blue waist belt. She was wearing black shorts, stopping somewhat before her knee-length black sandals.

It was a brand-new outfit that she had obtained recently after wearing out so much of her own set of training clothes from training so much. So her father, Orochimaru, surprisingly left her a new set of clothes a day after her birthday as a late second birthday gift.

'I can't wait to show everyone my new skills. They see how amazing I'm compared to my father and show them they couldn't keep his identity from me forever.' She thought as she started walking to the arena for the final matches.

As she was walking towards the arena, she heard people talking about Neji Hyuga and looking forward to seeing his match just as much as Sauske Uchiha's match.

The moment she reached the entrance of the arena, and saw two guards standing at the entrance.

"Kei, we haven't seen you around crystal user," One of the guards said.

"Yeah, you must have been training hard to have new clothes. Doubt that you grew out to get them in a month unless you gain muscle from training or wearing them out," The other guard stated.

"Yes, I have been training everyone going to witness a fantastic match," She commented, walking through the entrance.

"Shikamaru," She greeted, walking on over stand next to Shikamaru on his right.

"Kei, you got a new outfit," Shikamaru said, studying my outfit."It looks very lovely on you," He said, complimenting her.

"Um, thanks," Kei said, not expecting for Shikamaru to compliment her new outfit."Where is Naruto?" She asked, noticing that the familiar blonde knucklehead wasn't there.
