It was the middle of the night and I had decided to go to sleep. I was 7 months along with the pregnancy and every thing was running smoothly. I felt something run down my leg, I knew that I hadn't wet myself because I went to the toilet not that long ago.
Then it struck me harder than anything. My water had broke.
"REECE!" I called up the stairs. "TOM!" I shouted another name, hoping to get one of the boys attention. "JAMES!" I cried a third name. One of the contractions had hit me and I cried out in pain. "REECE!" I cried once more.
I heard the footsteps of 8 boys run from all directions.
"My water broke!" I screamed, the pain still there from the last contraction. Tom, Reece and James helped me into one of the many cars that they owned. I'm guessing Chris ran up the stairs to get the baby bag, as Charlie, Jake, Casey and Barclay ran to two other cars.
After 10 painful minutes, we had arrived at the local hospital and I was wheeled straight away. Another contraction hit and it was more painful than the other.
"AHH!" I screamed, squeezing Reece's hand as he walked beside the wheelchair. We soon came to a room and I was placed on a bed.
"Hello Winter, are the babies coming?" Alice asked as she walked in, in her uniform. I nodded and she walked in, soon to return with Joss.
"Do you want to choose 2 people to stay with you during this?" He asked me. I nodded and weekly pointed to Tom and Reece. I chose them because, well Reece is the dad and Tom has supported us the whole way through.
The other boys made their way out of the room after coming over and giving me a hug each.
"I'm going to check how dilated you are. Okay?" Joss asked and I nodded. "Right, boys, I need you to take a side each and hold her legs apart." He instructed. The boys did as told; one hand on my knee, to keep them open, and the other was holding my hand.
"11cm, you need to be 10cm sweet." Alice told me, looking at me with sympathy. She could see how much pain I was in, with another contraction coming through I squeezed the boys hands really hard.
"I can't wait no longer!" I shouted, in pain.
"Do you want me to check again?" Alice asked softly, trying to sooth me. I nodded as Tom let go of my hand and stroked some of my hair out of my face, Reece still held on and squeezed back, both of them supporting me.
"10!" Alice cried, some what happy.
"Right, you can start pushing when I say so." Joss commanded, I sort of forgot he was there. I nodded my head and was struck by another contraction.
"Push!" Alice said, standing in between my legs. I gave a big push and screamed as I did. That was just the first push for one of the babies...
