It was a very cold day early in March and Freddie was driving him and the band home after a long day at the studio. The heating was on full blast, since the cold weather was coming into the car, and the windscreen wipers were on; it was snowing!

"Who knew it could get so cold it started to snow?" Freddie asked. "In March!"

"It's because of climate change, Freddie." Brian said. "You see, the ear-"

"Boring!" Roger groaned from in the back. "Let's have some tunes on!"

"Roger, Brian was talking." John said quietly, not wanting to start any conflict. "Do go on."

"No!" Roger huffed. "Please Freddie, we might still be in the charts!"

Brian sighed. He might as well just leave his global warming talk until tomorrow, when John and Freddie would be happy to listen without Roger whining at him.

"Go on, Fred." He said. "Let's do what Roger wants as always."

Freddie chuckled to himself; Brian and Roger were at it again. He put on the radio and let it play, reassuring Brian he could tell him tomorrow. Then he remembered what Roger said - the group could still be in the charts. Unfortunately, he already knew they weren't; his good friends Elton John and David Bowie had the number one and two spots - Queen had dropped down to number twenty.

"I forgot to tell you, we've been overtaken." He said. "By Elton and David. They told me."

Roger sighed. "Of course they did."

"Never mind." John said. "We can always get them back with the next song."

"Exactly." Freddie smiled. "Oh dear, this doesn't look good."

"What's wrong Freddie?" Brian asked.

The snow was now pelting the windscreen and the wipers couldn't keep up with the downpour. What was worse was the wheels were starting to loose their grip, either getting stuck or having no traction at all.

Suddenly, as they made a turn, the car swerved on a patch of ice.

"Shit!" Roger shouted.

"What's happening?!" Brian panicked.

They nearly crashed into a lamppost, but luckily no one was hurt.

"The snow is making this damn car act up." Freddie huffed. "Come on, work with me here!"

Brian tried to help by holding onto the gear stick, but it wasn't much use. If they moved much further they'd get stuck. Freddie took back complete control and parked by the curb.

"Sorry darlings, if I drive any further we won't be able to get home." He said. "I think we're stuck."

"Great!" Roger snapped. "That's just fucking great!"

He started kicking the seat in front of him, which happened to be Freddie's, out of pure anger. John tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen.

"Roger, calm down." The singer said. "We won't be here forever; it's just until the snow calms down. We've got the heating on, we've got each other, what else do we need?"

"Food, that's what." Roger sassed. "We're going to fucking die here Fred, I know it."

"It's alright, rog." John said comfortingly. "Freddie's right. We'll be fine."
