Willow Lupin sighed contentedly as she took a sip of her steaming hot chocolate. It was a rare treat for her to indulge in such luxuries, but she figured she deserved it after acing her Charms exam earlier that day. She was sitting with her friends at a small table in the Three Broomsticks, enjoying the warm atmosphere and the company of her peers.
As she was dipping a biscuit into her hot chocolate, she suddenly heard a loud commotion coming from the other side of the pub. She looked up to see two boys arguing with the bartender, who was shaking his head in exasperation.
Without thinking, Willow got up from her table and walked over to the boys. "Is everything alright?" she asked, trying to diffuse the situation.
The taller of the two boys turned to face her. He had messy black hair and striking green eyes. "Yeah, we're fine. Just trying to get a drink," he said, flashing her a charming smile.
Willow couldn't help but feel her heart skip a beat at the sight of him. She recognized him as James Potter, one of the most notorious troublemakers in Hogwarts. She had heard stories about him and his friends, but had never actually met him before.
"Well, maybe you should try asking nicely instead of causing a scene," she said, trying to hide her amusement.
James grinned at her. "Fancy a hot chocolate?" he asked, gesturing to the steaming mug in front of her.
Willow hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should trust him. But there was something about him that made her feel safe, despite his reputation. "Sure, I could use another one," she said, smiling back at him.
They sat down at a nearby table and James ordered two hot chocolates and a plate of biscuits for them to share. Willow couldn't believe she was sitting here, with James Potter of all people, enjoying a hot drink and some snacks.
As they chatted and laughed, Willow found herself drawn to James' easy-going personality and sense of humor. She had never met anyone quite like him before. By the end of the evening, she knew she had a crush on him.
They exchanged numbers before leaving the pub, and Willow couldn't stop smiling as she made her way back to Hogwarts. She knew this was just the beginning of a new adventure, and she couldn't wait to see where it would take her.
As she climbed into bed that night, she whispered to herself, "It all started with a cup of hot chocolate."
