My name is Sylvester, 17, from Quadtron, in a universe called Utron, where there is more than one planet with life.
There is Quadtron, Elitetron, Startron and Fortron. They all sound the same but they hold different qualities and different types of civilisation's. Fortron is the eco planet, everything is green and so are the people. They are called the forest people.
Startron is a planet with a low gravity pull, so most travel in ships and boats. The 'Greats' as they call themselves, look and act alot like us but are inteligent and are the leaders of our worlds.
Elitetron is our defence planet, it's inhabitants are all training for any wars or attackers from outside our legion. Their skin is injected with something called venom, which makes their skin as hard as steel for extra defence when they get picked at the ceremony. They start turning a red colour 2 months later.
Last and least my planet, Quadtron. Unfortunately my world is the most frowned upon and we are the rejects. We are a very tanned colour, almost a brown actually. I always think it's a sign that we are slowly rotting away because of the terrible environment we live in. No one cares about us.
At age 15 we go through a ceremony on all 4 worlds to see where we belong; The leaders, the fit, the friendly and the unwanted. Unfortunaly, I'm an unwanted, I'm not special.
After our world is decided, we then get put into new groups or what humans used to call 'families'. Mine are the rose group and I hate them. They are all older than me by 5 months.
There's 4 of us, (only groups of 4 are allowed maximum) Crystal, Felix, Emberey and me. They are hopefuls and they think the word reject, a nickname for people of our planet, means that we have a greater purpose. But I know the truth, I found an old Earth meaning of it and it read 'when something or someone is not needed or wanted'.
I wish they would go away but, annoyingly, I'm stuck with them until I'm 25 when we can start our own groups.
I can't wait to get away from everyone and everything.
