Chapter:5 Blake Cone

One normal Friday, when me and penny always hang out. She decided to bring her boyfriend along ,Kyle. Penny told me that she would have a surprise for me. I was waiting all day, thinking what she could of gave me. Later that day when penny got back from school. We sat on the curb by penny's small front lawn. When a mini van pulls in front of us. Kyle jumps out and this other boy comes after him. This strange kid was not that tall, but he was taller than me, but most everyone is taller that me. He had longish brown hair,with bright blue eyes. Kyle says hi to penny and gives her a big hug. "Hey sage" he says while he's holding his hand out for a high five. I give him a high five back and stare at penny. Penny quickly remember that there was another boy standing there. "oh Sage, this is Blake Cone. "oh hi,I'm sage" I say quickly my nerves were bouncing off the walls. Kyle says "he is my friend from school, he is in 8 th grade like you." " oh cool" I said".

While we started walking to the movies the two boys were walking in front of me and penny. She whispers in my ear "your welcome". "For what?" She stares at me then Blake and back to me. " for Blake", she responded like I was supposed to know. "he is so cute, if I wasn't dating Kyle I would date him". I started to giggle. Kyle stops short, saying " Sage your number is 555-2975 right?" "Yep,why?" He quietly said "oh you know for further reference." But I clearly saw Blake copying the miners on his phone, after he said them." i got all happy inside and we watched the movie and headed home.
