Heartbreak II

3:00 p.m

2 more hours to go.
Jay adjust his eye glasses and focus on his project again, taking up a part time job at his University's library as an assistant librarian might not be the wisest idea for a freshman. But hey, the pay is decent and all he really does is sit at the front and acts as a cashier, no big deal. It's his 2nd day here and time seems to be going slower during his shifts. The library is filled with soft melody of Clair De Lune played from the record player as the sun melted against the ceiling to floor windows, a hue of orange fills the library, providing a sense of warmth on a rather chilly September evening.

Jay's eyes were close to closing his environment sinks him in, but then a bell is heard, indicating that someone has entered the library. He smiled softy at the girl who had entered the building, in which she returned the smile, she seems new here.. Is she also a freshman? I wonder if we're the same age? Should I go talk to her? I like her outfit. Jay's head was going feral as if it's his first time seeing a woman. But she intrigued him, he feels the urge to know more about her, he wants to know everything about her, but all he can do know is watch her work peacefully as the golden hour embrace her presence.

5:30 p.m 

Jay's shift had ended half an hour ago, and as he was walking back to his dorm, he spots the girl again, his heart rate quickens, so does his footsteps.

"Hey.", he said breathlessly, the girl take her earphones out of her ear and looked at him with doe eyes, "Hi??", now what is he supposed to say..think Jay THINK. "I really like your dress today..floral..very autumn.", what the hell Jay. At this point he expects the girl to awkwardly excuse herself and run for her life, but she didn't, instead she laughed. "Thank you..you're the guy from the library right?", He nods with a smile, "I'm Y/n, I like your jacket too..denim, very autumn." She smiled and Jay swears that he felt his heart leaped, "I'm Jay, sorry for that weird comment. Are you also a freshman?", "Yup, I suppose you are too." He nod, suddenly he is now walking his campus crush back to her dorm, real smooth Jay. "Soo..what's your major?" He asked, "Medicine..I wanted to become a nurse, like my mom." She smiled while talking, "You?", "Political Science, it just seems like a safe option for me.", She nods in acknowledgement.

The conversation went smoothly, from talking about their majors to talking about their hobbies, pets and favourite foods, everything is going great

"I guess this is it..", Huh? What does she mean by that. "Hm?" "My dorm..we're standing right in front of it..Thank you for walking me home and for the conversation..I guess" she let out a breathy laugh in which Jay chuckled and before she went inside, Jay stopped her by grabbing her wrist, "When can I see you again?", "Tomorrow, I'll be at the library tomorrow by 3"

"Till then"
"Till then, good night."

That's when Jay Park walked 3 blocks past his dormitory to catch a last glimpse of his campus crush. Jay Park - 1 , social anxiety - 0

2:30 p.m

Jay is oddly excitement for his shift and we all know why. He bathe himself in perfume and even irons his t-shirt, a bloody T-shirt he's ironing.

Jay's classes were pretty flexible, all his classes on Monday to Wednesday last from 10 a.m - 2 p.m while Thursday and Friday last from 1 p.m to 4 p.m, and today's Wednesday so his shifts are at the afternoon. The boy was giddy on his way to his work, even gigging like a manic while opening the door. The library was the same as it was the day before, except that they're now playing The Carpenters.

Jay impatiently waits for the said girl to arrive, and true to her words, she arrived at 3 p.m, sharp. He smiled and her and she did the same to him, she walked on to the counter and placed one cup of latte, in which Jay shoots her a confused look, he looked down and saw a note there,
