Colton and Austin kept on fighting outside the door. For some reason I felt safer in the shelter, now that there was a door between me and them. "Kill her? Are you fucking serious, Austin, she's innocent!" Colton's voice seemed darker and angrier after every sentence. "Innocent? No, Colton, she witnessed us talking about what we do during the days, she was probably on her way going to talk to the cops." My tears just kept running down my cheeks. It was all my fault, if I never would've tried to listen to what they were talking about before in the drugstore they wouldn't have caught me in the first place. I slammed my fist on the door, making the discussion behind it stop. "Shut the fuck up, will you?" I shout. "Excuse me?" Austin says, opening the door, pulling me out, throwing me on the ground. "Stop! Just stop, it's not worth it", Colton says. Austin looks up at him before looking me in the eyes. "Too bad you're so gorgeous, otherwise I would've killed you already." He takes my upper arm pulling me up, getting me to stand up. "Hit her, Jason", Austin says, clearly still mad. "What the fuck? I can't hit a girl, Austin". Colton backed a few feet, turned around and walked away. "Can't see your girlfriend get hurt, huh?" Austin shouts behind him. Colton raises his hand showing he didn't give a flying fuck about me. I closed my eyes, wondering about my mom. If she was worried. If my phone were buzzing inside the drugstore, playing my favorite song as my mom called her little daughter, who was just about to die. "Ugh, I can't hurt you. Not right now", Austin says, pushing me, making me fall. I'm lying on the ground again, my face against the surface. "Call for backup, take Luna to our house, tie her up in the guest room, okay?", Austin says, and two arms grips mine, connecting them in front of me. "Rope?", Jason says. A rope wrapped around my hands so hard that it burned the skin. Jason turns me around, so he can look into my eyes. "Sorry, darling", he says before putting a cloth on my mouth. Everything turns black.

I wake up at the back of a van. "Mmhmph!" I try to shout, but they've put tape on my mouth, and I'm also blindfolded. Suddenly I fall from my sitting position, when a leg kicks me to the side. "Shut up, it's not like anyone can hear you anyway", Colton says. I wanted to ask him why he left, I wanted to ask him if he pretended to be nice while talking to me before. But I couldn't. I wasn't brave enough, even without the tape. I move back to the wall behind me, closing my eyes behind the blindfold. I don't know what they were planning to do, if it was to kill me, torture me or just scare me, but if it was to scare me, then it sure as hell worked. Suddenly the car stops. "Lock the back doors, and help me with this, Colton", Austin says, "the others are on their way". I breathe heavily as I can hear the doors closing and the van gets surprisingly quiet. I stand up, feeling like removing my blindfold, but they've tied my hands so weird that I can't even move my fingers. I go to the door, touching it with my hands. I hit the door as hard as I can, squinting my eyes behind the blindfold at the pain spreading through my fingers and up my arms. I let out scream before hitting it again. I scream my loudest behind the tape, hoping someone would hear me and call the police. I throw my body at the door. Dreaming that it would open magically. Suddenly it does and I fall into a pair of arms. They hold me tight. "What did I tell you, get in the van", he says and I immediately recognize the voice. Colton. I kick him, the hardest I can and he falls. I run for my life, I don't know in which direction, but I just run. I can hear Colton scream behind me. "Luna, stop right now, or I'll kill everyone you love, I swear!", he says and my heart starts pounding faster.
I stop. Scared as hell, I stop. I don't know where I am, I don't know if anybody is watching, but I stop, I turn around and I wait for Colton to catch me. I sit down on my knees, slowly laying down, crying. I'm tired, and I don't want to run anymore. Suddenly a pair of arms lift me up in the air, carrying me, back to the van I suppose. "That was dumb, Luna, don't do that again", Colton says. His voice makes my heart pound faster than when I was running, and I hate it. I really don't want to like him. I don't. And I hope I can convince myself not to because it's dumb liking someone like him. The doors closed behind him and I sit down. The floor was cold beneath me and I shiver. I focused on one sense. Hearing. Sight was no reason to even try, because I cold never be able to get the blindfold off. They've tied it way to tight. I listened closely, trying to hear whispers, or perhaps the radio. It was no good. All I could hear was the engine. I shut the world off for a second, daydreaming. I lay on my back, thinking of things that makes me happy. Mom, the thought of dad, my lost brother, Lucas, and art. Drawing and painting, I absolutely love it. That's the only thing that keeps my mind off of things.

A huge bump on the road makes my body fly up in the air for a second, waking me up. I hit my fists at the floor, at the thought of waking up like this. Before I opened my eyes, I was ready to see my bright room, home at moms, listening to the sounds of her making breakfast. "Ay, calm down", Colton says, grabbing my arm, pulling me out of the vehicle. I can feel his arm tensing as we're both out. He takes the blindfold off but I'm still keeping my eyes closed. "You can open your eyes, Luna", he says. I open my eyes slowly. I'm squinting at the light traveling in between the eyelids. It burns. When my eyes have become accustomed to the light, I look up at the big house before me. It must be the house Austin talked about. It is tremendous. It looks like a typical celebrity-house with an incredible number of windows. When I look around I notice that we are in the wilderness, literally. The house is surrounded by trees, and when I look out on the road, it looks like the forest accompanies it away to the horizon. Good place. If you want to kidnap someone and keep him or her hidden, that is. I try to ignore Colton and the other guys as much as possible, because they're only rude to me. Instead, I focus on taking advantage of every second that I actually have the chance to see. Colton pinch on my arm, and gets my attention. I look into his eyes, which makes him look so soft and kind. Though he is actually a murderer. "I will let you see now, but you must listen to me. All the time," he says, holding the grip as tight as before on my left forearm. I don't answer, but I look forward, up at the house again. Of course I knew I had to listen to him. I know what he said before. That he'd hurt everyone I love. I must be careful. "Take her, the guys have prepared the guest room for her, tie her somewhere, she's a runner," Austin says, pointing toward the house. Jason opens the two large doors and cleanliness puzzles me. It doesn't look like a house a bunch of guys are taking care of. I blink my eyes a few times to see if it is actually for real. Suddenly I get a shot in the arm, and I look into Colton's eyes one last time before the room starts to spin. "Sorry, darling, but you've seen too much."
