*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES

Before I start, I would like to say that this is a "what if" story line write-off from the original Percy Jackson series written by Rick Riordan. These are not my characters. This is a "what if" story about  Percy Jackson and if he had in fact stayed with Calypso instead of going to fight with his friends in book four of the Percy Jackson series, The Battle Of The Labyrinth. Again, that book is not mine, it is Rick Riordan's, he is the original writer. This is a fantasy story line inspired by his book that I did not write, so none of these characters are mine. Also I was really heartbroken when I finished the book because I really thought Calypso deserved a happy ending and Percy seemed perfect for her. So enjoy.

*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES

Is this what Aphrodite meant by a treacherous love story? No, that would probably have to apply to Annabeth. I feel guilty. That I can't love her. She's been my best friend since I was 12. Four years later, she''s still by my side. And it's been a rough four years. The first hiccup was finding out I was a demigod. Demigods are basically people born with one parent being a Greek God. My father is Poseidon. One of the big three. Although I'm not really supposed to exist because of an oath The Sea God(Poseidon/my dad) made with his two brothers Zeus and Hades to never have demigod children because they would be too powerful. There is a lot to get into for that, but long story short, my dad broke the oath, along with Zeus. Hades still gets mad about it from time to time. And unfortunately Zeus' daughter Thalia was killed on her way to this camp that protects demigods, but because of her bravery, Zeus spared her and turned her into a magical pine tree that protected the camp from monsters. More on that later.

So yeah, when I found out that I was part God, things changed. I started going to Camp Half-Blood, this camp for demigods like me. Also the camp Thalia's tree protects. It's where I met Annabeth. And Grover! The best satyr I will ever know. We went on this crazy journey to find Zeus' lightning bolt which he thought I stole. I also got my mom back from the Underworld where she was being held captive. I thought she had died, but it turns out Hades had kidnapped her. And it turned out Luke, a son of Hermes who I thought was my friend actually did steal the lightning bolt to start a war because he resented the gods and turned to Kronos' side, the evil Titan lord. He tried to kill me, but I survived, and lived to fight another day.

Year two was shocking. I found my half brother Tyson who is a cyclopse, and for a while I felt kind of ashamed because I was kind of seen for being heroic and stuff at camp after the lightning bolt quest. Annabeth also had trouble warming up to him, but we're past that now. Thalia's tree got poisoned by Luke, so naturally Tyson and Annabeth and I went on this whole quest to find the legendary Golden Fleece to heal the tree. Well, it was actually this girl Clarisse's quest, but Grover was also trapped on his search for Pan the Wild God, so we had to go after him. We found him and the fleece, as well as Clarisse. We also came toe to toe with Luke who was trying to raise Kronos from the dead with the fleece, but we thwarted his attempt. But while the fleece did heal Thalia's  tree, it also brought her back to life.

The summer after that was quite stressful. Tyson was away at one of Dad's forges run by cyclopes', so I missed him a lot. With Thalia back, I kind of felt insecure about my place at Camp Half-Blood. But on a mission to retrieve two new half-bloods, Bianca and Nico, Annabeth disappeared, and the new half-blood Bianca joined the Hunters of Artemis. I met Artemis though, and she was not what I expected. I had one of my dreams and it turns out Luke betrayed Annabeth so that she would hold up the sky instead of Atlas the Titan. Seeing Annabeth in pain wasn't even the worst part. Artemis took her place and then Annabeth was held captive by Luke. And I didn't even get picked for the quest. Thalia and Grover went, along with Bianca and Artemis' lieutenant Zoe. But I followed them using Annabeth's invisible cap. Eventually I had to reveal myself though, and Thalia was not pleased. When we were wandering through the Gods' junkyard, Bianca sacrificed herself  to save us. Her death was a weight on my shoulders. I promised Nico that she would be safe. When we found Artemis, she was holding up the sky. Luke cornered us, and he still had Annabeth. It was a miracle she survived. And it was revealed Zoe was Atlas' daughter. She was injured upon getting there so I knew we needed Artemis. She was reluctant to let me hold the sky, but I did. I can't describe what it felt like to this day. Atlas was rolled back under and trapped once more. Zoe did not make it. She was one of the bravest people I have ever known and Artemis created a constellation just for her. Annabeth, Thalia, Grover and I all went to Mount Olympus on the Winter Solstice to see if we were still worthy of life. Thalia didn't come back though. She had become the new lieutenant of Artemis' Hunters.
