Shay's pov
"Yawn '' I'm tired when I wake up. Time flashes in my mind. My eyes start to focus.
" Oh god! I'm going to be late for work" I quietly yell. I hurry to get ready. Running to the bus and finally getting on.
"Hey dude," my best friend fin says. Fin is a big guy who does management at the factory. He tracks where all the butter is and if we're going slow. Plus he's my best friend.
" The bus almost left. You are so lucky you can run fast." Fin said, chuckling.
"Yeah! My alarm didn't go off." I exclaim. The bus scert's to a stop. Fin and I get off. The coldness of the building's shadow surrounds us. Walking in was hard enough and not to mention the security. It was tuff. Once I sat down. I was interrupted. Through the speakers, I heard my boss call me up to his office. I Groaned as I went up the fifty floors to my boss's office. Knock knock!
" Come on in Shay" yelled Robert from inside the office. Robert and I are friends and I work for him. He built his butter company from the ground up literally. From making butter with his mother and now he has his own company. He is my biggest idol. I"m Ronald's best employee. I walk into the humongous office. " Hell,o Shay." M. Ronald welcomes me.
" Shay, I would like you to meet Koco," Ronald jesters to Koco "and show her how to work everything. Okay.". My eyes lit up. Everything was set on her beauty. Her beautiful brown eyes caught my gaze.
"Okay boss" I gladly said. Koco and I go down into the cold butter-making room. Koco turns to Shay after the tour.
" Shay, right?" questions Koco.
" Yeah, what do you need?" I answered.
" Well I was wondering why your photo is in the big guy's office?" koco's voice sounds questioning.
" it's because I'm the best employee in this factory." I said proudly,
" That's why I showed you around.". Koco looked at me with squinted eyes. Then she turned around and left. I was shocked. She didn't even say thank you or anything. She just left. How rude! I finished my day at the factory. Home, I went. The bus was crowded. It's not that many people normally. Once getting off the bus. In the corner of my eye. A swift black shadow turns the corner from my apartment. That was weird! Fumbling with my keys at my apartment door. Click! I shut the door and it locks. I sat down my stuff and right away went straight to the bathroom to take a shower after a long shift. The hot steamy water drains down my body. The sound of running water clouds my ears and I drift off into dreamland. About Koco and her beautiful brown eyes. Her straightened dark brown hair. But then something woke me from my thinking. Thump! The noise I was hearing came from upstairs. Probably the new young tap dancers are bouncing around. I got out of the shower with steam following me. I do my nightly routine and head to bed. Beep! Beep! My hand swings over and tries to find the button to stop the echoing noise. I lay in bed thinking that I should just call in sick. But then I remembered that we have a new pretty employee and I get to help her today. My daily routine takes place. I don't have to rush out the door dis morning. Because my annoying alarm decides to work this morning Walking to the bus. I almost trip and fall while walking up the steps.
" Hey bud!" fin says in a joyful tone.
" Hey," I answer back.
" Alarm work?" fin questioned.
"Yeah" I start to continue " that stu-" but the fun begins too.
" Oh you can go!" fin exclaimed. I nod no.
" say what you were going to say." fin begs me to continue.
" Well if you insist., I say rolling my eyes
