Trip (part 1)

"Hey Kev?"
"Mhmm??"
"so uh, yknow how I was talking about Mitski last week?"
"Yessss?"
"Well! I was on ticket master and it says theres a concert a couple states over! i think we have enough saved to go right? I can pay the tickets and seats"
"Oh yeah! how many states exactly?"
"Three-"
"Hmmm, when is it? Maybe we could take a trip or vacation type thing with it yknow?"
"WOAHHHH! FR?"
"Mhm!"
"AAAA OKAY"

A couple days later

"Okay strebs, you got all of your bags n stuff?"
"Yep!!"
"And you have your phone, headphones, sketch book, and blanket?"
"Uhhhhh- MY PHONE. I NEED MY PHONE HOLD ON."
"Im gonna take our stuff out to the car!!"
"OKAY"
Kevin took all their bags out to the car, and made sure to keep the important trip stuff in the front seats, like headphones and snacks. As soon as Streber got to the car, they started on their way. The first 3 hours, Kevin drove, and Streber crocheted a blanket he had been working on. At around 2:30 pm, they made a gas station stop for gas and drink and snack refills.
"OOOOO! Kev can we get those slushy things?? The fancy ones?"
"Slurpies??"
"YES"
"Yeah! lets go and look what flavors theyve got! and grab your headphones"
"oh yeah!"
"What flavor do you want?"
"BLUE FLAVOR"
They ended up getting one large slurpy to share, a couple monsters, some candy, and chips. Once they got back to the car Streber insisted on driving until their next stop, and Kevin ended up taking a nap, he was exhausted from packing both his and Strebers things until late the night before. Until their next stop, it was pretty boring, Streber kept driving and Kevin slept the whole time.
"Kevvvv? Kevinnn"
Kevin jumped a little when he woke up
"Ahhh! Sorry i didnt mean to scare you! Were just at another stop and i wanted to make sure we didnt need anything more than some water!"
"We dont, what times it though?"
"bout 7?"
"Ah, alright. How bout you run in for water and ill fill up the gas?"
"Okie dokie:)"
After they were both back at the car it was Kevins turn to drive again. A couple minutes into the drive, Streber was looking at different hotels they could stay the night in before they kept driving the next day.
"Hey Kev? This ones near where we're stopping next right?"
"Yeah, it looks neat!"
"Should i book us a room then?"
"Yeah:)"
Streber booked a nice room on the second floor with a single king bed and a nice shower. When they got there, they went up to their room, they didnt unpack anything they wouldnt need for the night, only their comfy clothes, blankets, Strebers sketch book, and Kevins book he had been reading the past week. As soon as they got everything they needed unpacked, they sat on the couch and went over the little pamphlet about all the stuff thee hotel had.
"Woahhh! Streb look theyve got an indoor hot tub and pool!"
"WOAHHHH!! do you think we can go?"
"Mhm! Pretty sure we should get some real food to eat fir-"
"CAN WE ORDER PANDA EXPRESS"
"YES."
"YAYYYY!"
They ordered their food and such, and once they were done, Streber was basically jumping all around with excitement.
"OKAY STREBER WE CAN GO NOW JUST CALM DOWN"
"YAYYYYYY"
"DO YOU HAVE YOUR TOWEL AND GOGGLES?"
"OH YEAH I SHOULD GRAB THOSE"
When they went down to the pool, they were the only ones there. Kevin went straight to the hot tub, relieved to calm down after the long day they had, and Streber jumped straight into the pool.
"AA I GOT WATER IN MY GOGGLES"
"OH JEEZ"
*DRAMATIC GASP* "KEVIN LOOK THERES A DIVING BOARD WATCH MY FLIP. ARE YOU WATCHING?"
"Yes hun"
"CANNON BALL BITCH" Streber yelled as he did a flip into the pool
"DID YOU SEE THAT KEVIN"
"Yes Strebs"
Kevin kind of gave up trying to sit back and relax after a bit, most of the time they were there was Streber having him watch his flip or time how long he could hold his breath. Kevin didnt really mind though, he thought it was pretty funny, and enjoyed seeing Streber happy. Eventually Streber got tired and hopped in the hot tub with Kevin.
"Tired?"
"Ehhh, kinda. I wanna stay a few more minutes though!!"
"Is 30 minutes gonna be good?"
"Wellllll what time is it?"
"Uhh, about 11 i think? If we stay until about 11:30, itll take until almost 12 for both of us to shower, and til about 12:30 to dry your hair and get ready for bed."
"Mm, then yeah! Till 11:30 sounds nice"
They sat in the hot tub and talked about their favorite part of the day until it was their agreed time to go.
"Alright Strebs, time to go"
"Fineeee, but I call dibs on the shower first!"
"Fine."
As much as Kevin hated having to wait in a cold towel until he could have the shower, waking up with icky chlorine hair was worse. Once they were back at their room, Streber went straight to the shower.
"STREBER YOU FORGOT YOUR GOOD CONDITIONER"
"AH CAN YOU BRING IT"
"YEAH"
Kevin left it on the bathroom counter for Streber to grab, alongside his comfy clothes that he had also forgotten.
They both finished showering and getting ready for bed. It was about 12:40 by then, and they were both sitting on the couch and tired, and Streber was starting to get a little moody. He did that when he got tired.
"Streber, its late, bedtime."
"Noooo! 5 more minutes!"
"You said that 10 minutes ago. Bed. Now." Kevin gave Streber his signature, "Im serious right now" look.
"Fineee"
Kevin rolled his eyes at Strebers childish attitude.
"Alright, cmon" Kevin said, standing up.
They laid down in the bed and Streber crawled up on Kevin so he could lay on his chest. He closed his eyes and fell asleep within seconds. Kevin rested his hand on Strebers back and fell asleep quickly too.

UHG IGNORE MY TERRIBLE WRITING. I just got back to writing after a couple months and Im still trying to get back into it yknow! Ill try to finish part two as quick as I can:)
