Too Perfect

"I am so fucking late!" The brunette groan while she running to her work place. Oh she gonna be so dead. Her CEO is coming to the office but she already late for an hour. The real reason why Jennie was late is because she has a daughter to take care of.

No, scratch that. She has a niece to take care of.

That's the main reason why she still single and couldn't get into one of serious relationship. If she want a partner, she need to find someone who are truly understands her situation. Someone who also love kid and willing to take care of her together. Her passed relationship all ended up getting cheated. And it's all because they don't want someone who already has a child in the house.

Once Jennie steps inside her workstation, her manager already standing near to her desk. Definitely with a very angry face. "Why are you late?! Ms Kim is here before you do! Oh you are so gonna get fired, Jennie!"

"Wait no-- Don't fired me please!"

"What's going on here?" That was her first time hear Ms Kim's voice, the CEO of the company. Jennie never meet her once as she too occupied with her works. And even had to stay back just because her manager left so many works for her. When her niece has been waiting for her all alone in her house.

"Oh, Ms Kim. I am so sorry. One of my employer here making a mess again. She always late and making excuses more. I will fired her if you--" Before Kangin able to finish his words, the CEO stop him. "That would be necessary, Kibum. I bet she does has her own reason am I right? Ms Jennie Kim?"

She did not just mentioned my full name? Holy fuck her voice so sexy--

The brunette looking at her and oh boy she never know how young and gorgeous her CEO is. Jennie fidget her fingers and bits her lower lips before she could answer her. "Uhm my niece is not feeling well. I h-had to bring her to the clinic first. That's why I'm late."

Silence, that's all Jennie could feels. She worried that she really might get fired when she really need this job so bad. The only job she has to afford for her and her little niece.

"Kibum, if you won't mind. Come and see me in my office after this." Okay that's scared Jennie more.

Everyone leave a sigh as soon the CEO and their manager, Kibum left the room. "Gosh that was so intense!"

Jennie finally able to breath as soon she sits on her chair. "Hey, Jen. Are you okay?" Chaeyoung, her best friend nudged besides her. She shook her head. "No, I am worry about Yuna. I already thought that I need to run back during lunch break just to check up on her."

Chaeyoung smiled as she pats on her shoulder lightly. "You should take leave for today. Take care of Yuna. She need you right now."

"And got kick by Kibum? No way!" They both didn't realised that Ms Kim standing right in front of them as she make a fake cough. "Oh, I'm so sorry Ms Kim! I w-won't late again after this." She mumbled while her eyes on the floor.

The CEO smiled as she gives her a letter. "Please, you don't have to worry about that. Here my letter that I approved you to take three days off. Why you still working when your niece all alone and sick?" That was the time where Jennie finally able to lift her head and look at her CEO. God she look so gorgeous. And she almost got panic attack from the beauty.
