Loving him was painful. Like grabbing a thorn bush with no protectant for the hand. Hell, he'd rather swim with sharks than be rejected by him. Edward Teach.

Israel knew winning his love would be hard, especially with his own circumstances. A little over two years ago Izzy had his daughter, Aviva Blanc, now she was a beautiful two year old. Izzy knew Edward would think less of him due to this, knew he was a whore who got used and ditched with a baby.

"You are scaring the hoes Aviva," Izzy told his daughter as they lounged on the couch together, some random baby show playing for his daughter. The ravnette was in the process of trying to find a romantic partner but every time he brought up that he had a two year old they would either ghost him or say they weren't interested.

The toddler just smiled at him, not understanding what he was really saying. "Dada love you," She said, making him smile. "Thank you, I love you too," He pressed a kiss to her cheek. He got a text from a friend and immediately checked who it was, usually he got texts letting him know his prescriptions were ready to be picked up so he figured it was that.

But no, it was a good friend of his that he coincidentally had feelings for. Edward fucking Teach. 'Hey Izzy, is it ok if I come over? My roommates are fighting and I don't really wanna be here. If not, we can go out and have lunch or something?'

Izzy read it twice before looking at his home, it was a mess. Toys everywhere, he hadn't dust or vacuumed in two days and honestly it kinda reeked of dirty dishes. 'Let's go out and have lunch my house is a little dirty, pick a place and lmk where we go, Aviva is gonna come if that's alright,'

He looked at his daughter who just watched tv without a care in the world. "Aviva, do you remember Edward? He bought you a really cool car to play with at his house?" He asked his daughter in hopes she remembered him. She looked over with her big sweet ol eyes and nodded with a big smile. "Eward!" She cheered, making Izzy laugh.

"No love, ed-ward," He sounded it out for her but she didn't care enough to try again. "Well dad is gonna go for lunch with him and you have to come too, so let's go get dressed and go yeah?" Izzy gently ruffled her hair before getting a distressed whine and the toddler going fully limp on his chest and stomach making him grunt.

Well that's confusing- she usually loves going out. "What? What's the matter?" He asked her gently, rubbing her back in a small attempt to comfort her. "Don't wanna go! Wanna stay here in nini!" She fussed, she called her pajama clothes nini. "You can wear nini clothes, we don't have to change ok? I'll bring the tablet and we can wear cozy clothes yea?"

This got the toddler interested. "And bring chicken?" Chicken was her stuffed doll, yes she named it chicken, no he didn't know why she did. "Uhm-" He hesitated. "Yeah that's fine- but if you lose her I can't get you a new one. So hold her tightly," Aviva nodded and jumped off him to get her stuff. He laid there for a moment longer before getting up to get ready.

After having his daughter he really let himself go, his weight wasn't an issue, literally after having Aviva he lost the weight fairly quickly and kept it off. He just stopped caring about how he looked. "Aviva, make sure you pack your backpack, i'm not gonna carry fifteen things if you forget it," He warned her as he began to fiddle with his toothbrush.

The toddler grabbed her backpack and grabbed the tablet off the table, her dolly, some crayons, basically anything she could get her hands on. The ravnette spent a minute in the bathroom before going to change his musty clothes. Yeah- he's been in the same fit for three days- he put on some fresh deodorant and a new shirt and pants. Just a simple band shirt and some sweats.

"Dada ready?" Aviva asked as she waddled into his bedroom. "Almost love just relax, you got socks and shoes on?" He grabbed a jacket for himself. "Yup!" He turned around the check. Yeah- she had her socks on but two left shoes on. He chuckled. "Baby, you got two different shoes on," Izzy pointed out as he slid his jacket on and grabbed his own shoes. She looked at her shoes before frowning a bit. "Bad?"

Lately she's been worried she's been doing bad things which Izzy didn't know where she got that from. "No baby, it's just a mistake. Find your other shoe and it'll be ok," He assured her as he slid his crocs on. After a quick shoe change to the right shoes she was ok. He checked his phone to see what Edward had replied.

'Fuck yeah I love Aviva, I'm gonna go to that deli by the Best Buy, see ya in about fifteen,' Thank goodness, it was somewhat close by. He scooped the toddler up and grabbed his car keys. "Ok before we go we're not missing anything? No toys, no shoes, no clothes, no nothing?"

"Nope!" Aviva hummed. "Ok then, let's go," And with that they left, the car ride wasn't difficult thankfully and they found a decent parking spot. He went over the rules he set for her when they went out.

Once finished he got her out of her car seat and grabbed her backpack and extra bag where her extra clothes were in case she had an accident and the pull up didn't help. Aviva was being a bit difficult and wanted him to carry her, so instead of dealing with her tantrum he just carried the toddler into the deli.
