João has a girlfriend.

Camila knew who he was but never went in depth about his relationships or his entourage. Her heart basically dropped when he saw pictures of him and his girlfriend. Why would he cheat on her? She's a pretty brunette woman and he seemed happy with her in the pictures.

Why would he cheat on her??

Camila doesn't take the time to dig into their history and decides to take a shower before leaving the hotel. She calls an Uber home and puts down the envelope with money on the table. Her friend Rebecca FaceTimes her immediately after.
Rebecca: Hey Cami! How are you doing??
Camila: I'm doing good, how about you?? You look like you're ready for another photoshoot!
Rebecca: Yeah it's for Dior! Their new clothing line will be out next week but we already have them exclusively!
Camila: You gotta get me one!
Rebecca: I gotcha! I see that you're in a good mood! What's up?
Camila: Oh I just had a great time last night!
Rebecca: Elaborate!
Camila: I hooked up with a guy last night and that felt so good! Like I felt a lot of comfort with him...
Rebecca: Whhaaaatttt???? Have you gotten the name of the guy? 

She hesitates to say it; João wrote down that she should not tell anyone about their adventure.
Camila: No, I haven't gotten his name but he was one handsome guy with an accent to die for!
Rebecca: Damn you should've gotten his info!
Camila: I should've...He was in town for one day and he just went back to London today.
Rebecca: Well if he was a good laid, why not go to London as well?
Camila: I do have a fashion show next week in London, we'll see if I'll find him.
Rebecca: If he made you feel this good then you have to go for it! Find him! 
Camila: Maybe I will.
Rebecca: Oh! It's time for me to go for the photoshoot! Talk to you later!

They hang up and Camila decides to watch her favourite tv show. It was hard to concentrate because she kept thinking about her night with João; the way he got her body ache for more, and she didn't want him to leave.

Is she really falling in love with a taken man?

Why did he even cheat on her? 

Is the two questions lingering in her mind. 

João arrived home and only saw Floki in the house. He pets his dog and receives a text from his girlfriend: 

Meu amor ❤💫

"Hey babe, I'm leaving for California right now it's for a fashion show"

"Again?? I just arrived from Manchester and I wanted to go on a date with you!"

"I'm so sorry, we'll catch up when I come back okay? 🥺"

"Fine, I'll just go chill with the boys then."

"Sorry again! I love you! 😘"

"Love you too ❤"

This is what João has to go through frequently, his girlfriend Gabriella Santos, is also a model but she keeps on travelling from place to place so she barely has time for him. He felt more single than in a relationship so that's why he went to the club that night.

João sighs and goes to Kai's home with Floki to play FIFA with him since he has nothing else to do and Kai helped him get settled in London. They grew close very quickly on and off the football pitch.
Kai: So how is it with Gabriella?
João: She's in Cali.
Kai: For what??
João: A stupid fashion show.
Kai: Damn again??
João: That's what I said! I was going to plan a nice dinner date for us but nah, she left again!
Kai: You two really need a talk! How is she leaving all the damn time? She can easily do gigs for shows in the UK at least.
João: Right?? I just hate lonely nights...

Sophia, Kai's girlfriend walks into the living room and sits down next to Kai with a bowl of popcorn.
Sophia: Hi João! You didn't come with Gabriella?
João: No, she's at another fashion show in California...
Sophia: That's a shame, I really wanted to catch up with her!
João: Well one thing's for sure is that she'll be there with me for the Adidas fashion show here in London.
Kai: Finally something you two will be attending to!
João: Yeah, she's gonna be on stage.
Kai: That's nice! Just don't forget to have that talk with her alright?
João: I will, this has to stop.

As if he hasn't cheated on her the other night. João always stayed loyal to Gabriella but the constant distance between them made him look for some comfort in someone else's arms for one night. He enjoyed that hookup since it's been a while since he hasn't made love to Gabriella.

He felt good about it even if it was so wrong.

Kai, Sophie and João went to take a walk with their dogs for a bit even if some fans spot them and asked for pictures.

The rest of the day was chill for him even if he wanted to spend that day with Gabriella. If she was there, he would keep his hookup a secret anyways.

But if João loses her, would he really care?

He doesn't know; she's very non-existent than present to him.

At home, he plays with Floki to forget about his loneliness.

One week later

Tonight is the Adidas fashion show and Camila is getting her makeup done; it's her biggest gig so far and she doesn't want to mess it up. Nerves are getting onto her as she lines up with the other models. A brunette stands right next to her and when she looks over at who it is, her mouth drops. 

It's Gabriella. 

She looks away; she's also a model?! 

"If only she knew how João broke my back that night..." Camila said in her head. 

They don't know each other but they have one thing in common, the man sitting in the front row seats: João. He's there with a couple of other Adidas athletes to watch the fashion show. Of course, he can't miss his girlfriend getting on stage; he wants to be a supportive boyfriend. 

Even in the back of his mind, he thinks about the beautiful stranger named Camila.

"Right there Ana, fuck...you're so wet for me..." He said while fucking her in the team hotel room. It's supposed to be a one-time thing but she has him in a chokehold; just like he roams in her mind as well.

He thinks about how her muffed moans were sweet; he wants to hear more of that often. It's like João remembers the exact sensation he felt when she was in her bed. 

João should've fucked her all night long. 

His only regret is leaving her alone in the room without getting her number or at least putting down his number in the note. 

"Get over it João, I'll never see her again..." He said to himself.

Not knowing that Camila is behind that curtain. She knows that João is there since Gabriella is going to get on the catwalk with her. For part of the show, she will model with Gabriella next to her. 

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2023 Adidas fashion show! Starting with our brand new clothing line for activewear!" 

It's time to shine.
