Chapter 1.

Mia POV

I finally came to the point where I love my life. I love everything about it. I've got the job, the apartment, I have great friends, love life...okay, that could be better, but I'm not complaining. I'm finally free and happy.

It took me a lot to get to this point and I don't regret any choices that I've made.
I regret only one thing in my life and that's the choice of my first love, the man I loved unconditionally, the man I almost gave up everything for, the man I've never forgot, the man who broke me.

I had a really long week and I was really looking forward to the weekend. Me and my friends got invited to the Fashion show. It was fashion week in Paris and this was the final show. I love fashion, if I wasn't in the finance I would be definitely doing something in fashion. I always dreamed of having my own collection, maybe someday.

I came home from work and got ready for the night. I've got the perfect sexy but not to much look. I was getting the final touches when I heard a knock on the door.

"Hey babe, are you ready?" Ally smiles and comes inside. Ally is one of my best friends. We met at Uni and it was friendship at first sight.
"Absolutely, what do you think?" I pointed at my outfit.
"I think you're not coming home alone tonight" we laugh, take our purses and headed to the show.

We were coming last minute, as always, there were so many people inside.
"Ally, do you know where are our seats?" I looked at her and at that moment I bumped into someone.
"Je suis désolé, I wasn't looking" I apologize and look at that man I just bumped into.
"Nothing happened, I should have been more careful too." He smiles at me, and then he froze.
It took me one look and I knew right away who was standing in front of me. But I was surprise he recognize me as well.
"Mia...Mia?" He was surprise and happy to see me.

I was waiting a long time for this moment. For this reunion! I was preparing my speech for years...but now. I only looked and couldn't say a word. He really caught me by surprise.

"Hi, I'm Ally" Ally was standing beside me all along, and safe me by introducing herself.
"Hi, I'm Charles" He smiles at us.
"Sorry my friend apparently lost her voice, It was nice to meet you, but we're late...so byee" she took my hand and we went away from him. I looked at him for one last time and his eyes met mine.

It all came back to me like a boomerang. All the feelings and all of the pain.
"Why does Charles Leclerc know who you are?" Ally almost gasps with excitement.
"I wish he wouldn't know me at all" I said.
"I'm feeling there's a story, I hope someday you will tell me." We sit at our seat and waiting for the show to start.
