Travis Pov
6:27am my alarm clock had said,3 minuets before my father would start hounding me to get to school even though school starts at 9:00am and it takes 5 minutes to get there.
I continued to stare at my alarm clock seeing it change to 6:28,6:29,6:30... Then I heard loud banging on my door knowing that it would be my father.
"TRAVIS" Kenneth shouted, I never really saw him as my father but yet I still wanted to think that deep down he was, and at least if something bad happened i had my best friend Phillip, he was the nicest boy in my grade at school and ive known him for ages i think ive known him since kindergarden and he has kinda been a friend of the family since i met him and my family love him.
"Travis get out here phillip is here to pick you up for school" kenneth said opening my door and as i was already dressed and ready to go which caused my father to get slightly mad as i was dressed before him which was un-natural in his eyes
"yes father i shall leave now" i said with a smile on my face as i was happy to be seeing my best friend and the boy i had the biggest crush on, and so what if i had a huge crush on my best friend and i didnt want to say anything cause it would make our friendship go strange, I thought while i grabbed my bag and left to see phillip standing outside his new car, it was bright blue like his hair it was quite stunning to look at.
"Your dad get you that for your birthday this year im guessing" I said looking at phillip with a smile knowning the answer would probably be no but still asking
"nah i bought it, its beautiful isnt it?" Phillip said smiling back at me which caused my face to slightly heat up
"Oh- cool" i said trying not to get flustered by the fact that i never knew he had a job but i did know that he wanted a car so i wasnt suprised
