Summary:
To complete a yearly bet with his football team, golden boy West asks his crush's roommate Jade to be his date to the spring banquet, but everything changes when real feelings surface between the wrong people. ***** Jade Jennings isn't interested in athletes. Not even a certain flirty football player who she's struggling to keep off her mind. Theo Westerman-Cooke, aka West, has only one goal for his senior year: get drafted into the NFL. Well, that and maybe to finally spend a night with Siobhan, the cheerleader he's been crushing on for years - and he knows how he can get his chance. In less than two months, Dayton U's football team is hosting their annual spring banquet. The catch? There's a long-running tradition that players go home with another teammate's date. By taking Jade, West realizes he can make an easy switch and finally get a shot with his dream girl. But Jade and West may have underestimated each other and soon they're finding it hard to justify staying just friends. To the rest of the football team the Trade is a simple tradition. But the more West gets to know Jade, the more he questions if it's a game he's willing to play.

Review:
One thing I'm gonna always enjoy a romantic college story. I don't know about y'all but they do feel more realistic to me due to age and even the stuff discussed, things I've experienced myself. I left college with my current boyfriend, so I relate to the struggles I see in some college-romances which is why I'm such a huge fan of them. I really love the book The Trade, and Jade has so much character and amazing boundaries that you love and respect her. Also for those who love a good steamy scene, you'll definitely find it in here. It's also full of genuine love from friendships to family. This is a Paid story but I do think it's worth it ♥️
