• Chapter 14 •

At the moment you were standing around the corner of the great hall, talking to Garreth about the task you had just helped him with. It earned you quite the show from Sebastian, since he clearly wasn't amused about you going on a trip with Garreth. He even tried to convince you by trying to seduce you to spend the evening with him in the Undercroft. Eventhough it was very tempting to agree, you declined. You told him that you didn't like being stood up, so you weren't gonna do the same to someone else.

"You and your concoctions. I don't know how you come up with these things" you laughed, accompanied by a roll of your eyes. It surprised you how often Garreth seemed to come up with a new plan for a weird potion or something like that. This time it was about some sort of potion that you could use to prank people. The boy had explained that it would force people to say anything that's on their mind. It acutally sounded quite funny and could come in handy in many cases.

"I don't know actually, I suppose I just try to find a solution for every problem I have" he says, running a hand through his curly hair "Thank you by the way, for helping me" Garreth looked down at the floor, twisting his boot in the floor "Wasn't expecting you to help me since Sebastian and you dating... we all know he doesn't really like me that much"

A chuckle left your lips "Sebastian is just jealous, that's all.."

"Jealous? Why? It's not like you're intersted in..." he started, pointing at himself "This" he sounded a little insecure.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't have feelings for you Garreth, I'm in love with Sebastian. But I'm not blind, you're a handsome boy. I think that that's what Sebastian is jealous of, he sees you as competition. Eventhough he literally has nothing to worry about" You tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and smiled reassuringly at him. The boy blushed a little, nodding in agreement as he saw you speak up again "But I gotta go, I agreed to meet Sebastian after our errand"

Garreth nodded at you, giving you a small smile as you walked off, waving him goodbye.

You head towards the entrace of the Slytherin common room and saw Sebastian there, waiting "Hey Sebastian" you greeted him with a smile, jumping in his arms. The boy wrapped his arms around you securely and inhaled the sweet scent of vanilla as he nuzzled his nose in your neck "Hi darling" he replied, placing a gentle kiss on the skin of your neck, before slowly pulling away.

"Tell me what happened with Ominis?" you asked the boy that was standing in front of you, his hand were now in the pockets of his trousers.

Sebastian and you agreed to meet to talk about Salazar Slytherin's scriptorium. The both of you had wanted to find out the location of the entrance, but only found one candidate that might be able to help you, which of course had to be Ominis..

"I told him none of us will be able to avoid the Dark Magic forever.. So the more we know about Salazar Slytherin and the Dark Arts. The better prepared we'll be" he tells you, a frustrated sigh immediately afterwards "Unfortunately, only a Gaunt knows the location of the scriptorium's entrance and Ominis won't tell me"

You rolled your eyes "Why is this boy always sometimes so incredibly stubborn.." you muttered, an idea popping up in your head "Hmm.. perhaps I should have a chat with Ominis.. maybe he'll listen to me"

Sebastian scoffed "Why would he tell you, but not me?" his voice sounding a little more betrayed than he would have liked it to be, knowing that you caught up on it quickly.

"Don't get arrogant now, love" you said as you chuckled at Sebastians remark. It was so funny how he could get so offended when he wasn't someones first choice. You actually found it rather cute. You felt his hand tug onto yours as he lead you to the place where Ominis supposedly was.
