3rd Pov
The battle was gruesome, the memory was faint and so chaotic.
All the boy could was his older sister, Powder singing while walking across the bridge on fire in search of there parents.
"Dear friend across the river". She sang
"My hands are cold and bare". She continued
They continued to walk for what felt like ages.
Vi walked in between the both of them, Klaus on her right holding on to her hand while Powder on her left holding her other hand as she sings some more.
The three walk by a body leaning up against the barrier on the bridge.
"Our homes are built of stone". Powder sang
"So come across the river and find...".
Vi has stopped walking, making the other two stop with her, and caused powder to stop singing.
Powder was curious so she opened her eyes and looked towards her little brother and sister, taking notice that they both are wide eyed at the chaos that is right in front of them.
Shell shocked, Vi's grip tightens around powder's and Klaus hands.
The boy only looks at the disaster, He can't seem to get his eyes to look away.
A noise brakes his trans, sounds like pounding of metal on metal and grunting from a older man.
Their vision was blocked by smoke and embers but the boy could see the figure, a man he was tall and big.
He stood up and turned to look at the three kids, Powder moved over to her little brother and holding on to him tightly as Vi pushed them both behind her slightly.
The man starts walking towards the kids, Klaus can see more details of the man closer he got, He had a beard and his hair was a brown color but also messy, the young boy looked at the tall man's hands and notices he has metal gloves on them.
The boy gives a unsure look and continues hiding behind Vi with Powder.
The man stood over the kids and Vi looked back and forth looking for their parents.
The older man closed his eyes and sighed, knowing who these kids belong too.
He motions his head in the direction to his left.
Vi looks in the direction first, then Klaus and he notices two bodies laying on the ground, He couldn't tell who they were due to the amount of smoke.
The kids move a little closer and the smoke clears.
There they are, their parents, dead.
Klaus is shocked but then feels tears start to shed, he hears his older sister sob and then collapse as she mourns, Klaus and Powder move closer to Vi and hug her as the three of them shed tears and mourn their parents.
The next thing the boy heard was two loud bangs, like metal hitting concrete.
Only to be picked up by the man with Powder and he held Vi's hand.
The man walks over the bridge with the three kids.
As the man carried powder Klaus, Klaus buried his face into the man's neck and continued to cry.
After acouple more minutes of crying Klaus dozed off as the man continues to carry him.
