The Field Trip (First Half)

Arrival

The bus soon pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, a golden sandy beach within a five-minute walking distance. The four stepped out with their luggage, walking to the main area where the other students were gathered, with a chaperone to keep them in line. However, since the girls had already booked their room before the field trip began, they didn't need a chaperone since they were technically just heading to the same place. Tanjiro could feel Zenitu's angry stare burning into his soul no matter where he went. Turning his head as he walked with the girls up the stairs, he could see Zenitsu positively fuming, his mouth held by Nezuko and held back by Inosuke, Aoi and Genya. Nezuko was looking with a smirk, on he didn't like.

"I'm telling mom about this when we get back!" She yelled after her brother, who only got red in the face as he followed the trio of girls up the stairs, with Kanae reaching into her pocket and pulling out a key to open the door. She twisted the doorknob and pushed gently, exposing the luxurious contents of the room to their gaze. Tanjiro's eyes lit up like fireworks on a summer festival night as he excitedly walked in after the girls, his vibrant crimson orbs taking in the fancy hotel room. There was a minifridge, probably stacked with drinks and snacks, fancy decor, everything he'd expect from a place. But from his lower class perspective, this was as close to heaven as he could get.

"I-I....." Tanjiro paused, taking multiple moments to try and piece together a half decent sentence so he won't look like an idiot. "This place is massive..." He finally gets the words out, taking another glance around. Kanae took notice of the boy's bewildered expression, letting out a small giggle, laced with mirth and something more he couldn't quite place. "Tanjiro-kun, you have a terrible poker face. You know that?" Still, all three of them agree treating him to something like this is the least they could do. "But you've got lots of extra treats to get..."

For some reason, Tanjiro cant help but feel like there's an extra meaning behind her words, But he wont stress over it yet. It's not like they have something planned right?

Right..?

AN: Just getting this out. Cutting it short because my electricity got cut off when I woke up, and my earlier progress got wiped. Part two should be out by wednesday. See you guys Wednesday!
