"Shit." I hissed, waking up after blacking out for the second time. "Are you okay?" Harry mumbled. I looked to see him sitting across the room, further away from me than I expected. "What the hell do you think?!" I snapped. This time I had a massive headache and my neck hurt even worse than before. "Next time just run." He croaked, sounding like he was going to be sick. It was then that I realized that he had been crying. "But you said that I coul-" He cut me off. "Nevermind what I said! Listen to what I'm saying now, okay?" He barked. I nodded. "Okay..." I trailed off. For some reason I felt bad for Harry. Almost as if him being a monster was my fault. "Harry...why did you stop?" I asked softly. His head snapped up and he gave me a curious look. "I mean, why did you stop feeding? You could have had as much as you wanted." I repeated. He sighed and looked at his hands. "I didn't want to kill you." He muttered under his breath. I couldn't help but smile a little at his shyness. "Why not? Isn't that what vampires do?" I pushed. He flashed before me, eyebrows knitted together in both anger and confusion. "I guess. But I just couldn't do it." He whispered more to himself than me. Before I could say anything, he was leaning towards me. Expecting him to try to bite me, I cringed back. It was only then when I realized that he was just trying to kiss me. Well, either way I didn't want it to happen. "Why won't you leave?" I asked, changing the subject and distracting him. He looked over at the window before leaping over onto the sill of it. Then, unexpectedly, he jumped out. "Harry?!" I called before racing over to the still-opened window. I glanced down to see Harry standing on the sidewalk below, grinning cheekily. He then bounded back up onto the sill of my window, still grinning. "Well what was the point of that?!" I giggled. He smiled and replied, "To leave." He chuckled. I frowned then when I noticed the color fading from his face. "Well not permanently, though. Which is what I wanted." I muttered, stepping back. He lurched forward and extended his arms toward me. "Harry." I sighed, annoyed that he was doing this again. "Just one taste." He growled. I squealed and ran towards the door. He blocked me. Damn his immortal speed! "Harry! LET ME OUT NOW!" I cried. He smirked and shook his head. "You told me to run..." I whimpered, tears threatening to fall as fear sunk into my stomach. His face changed back to normal and he gasped before zipping to the window and leaping out. I let out the breath that, up until that moment, I didn't notice that I was holding in. What the hell is going on with him? Why didn't he just kill me when he had the chance? It'd be a lot easier for both of us. I wouldn't be under house arrest and he wouldn't have to keep an eye on me either. Ugh.
