The Legend of Malin Kundang

Once upon atime, there lived a boy named Malin. He lives with his mother. His mother sells cakes for continues lives. His mother condle Malin from a young age. So, Malin grew up to be a diligent and obedient child.

When Malin was big. He wants to wander to the outside of the island. Malin asked permission from his mother. With a heavy heart, the mother allowed her son to wander.

After Malin arrived overseas. He always works. Then, he met a rich woman. And they fell in love and married them.

Time passed, Malin's mother always waited for Malin at the harbor. Then comes the big luxury ship in the harbor! And, a man and a woman came out of the ship.

The mother knew the man was her child! The mother then called him, "Malin my son! Finally you come back son!"

The woman who was next to Malin said, "Is she really your mother?!"

Malin who heard that, then answered "No! She's not my mother!"

And the mother cried, she did not think her son would say that in front of her.

The mother left Malin and the woman, who turned out to be Malin's wife.

Malin and his wife climbed back into the ship. Then, Malin's mother shouted, "a rebellious child! I curse you to stone!"

The clouds are black as if answering the mother's prayer. And then, Malin and his ship turned to stone.
